The instant nooB idea is to want to run 2 4-4-4 lines of these guys...*vomits*
I'm judging them by themselves. Nidoqueen is alright, way too situational.
Nidoking is a bomb. Bound Crush will get you prize after prize, and combo that with a gust, geez...what can survive 100 damage + poison.. 0_0
EXs of the final versions of the starters, that's what...
Ok, everyone else did them separetely, so now I'll do them when together:
First off, Nidoking gives some extra punch to Nidoqueen's Toxic...makes poison look even better.
Also, with Nidoking in play, that's another 20 damage for Nidoqueen's main attack (10 for being evolved + 10 for poke power) for a grand total of 60 so far...AND another 10 for Nidoqueen herself...70 damage for 3 energy (2 of which are colorless)?? That's too much.
Now, as for the other side...there's the obvious Toxic then Bound Crush when they retreat, but there's the other part of it, too...NIDOKING'S RETREAT COST GOES FROM 3 TO ZERO!!! That's too powerful of a card to have no retreat cost...
So, yeah, they're powerful by themselves, but even more so when combined...
