Pika Forest will be really, really fun, and there's a special pokemon to battle in the center of it. It'll be mazelike... :) Guess what? I CAN FREAKING EDIT TEXT! I'M SOOOO PROUD AND SO HAPPY!!! YAY!!!

Sorry for that unexplained outburst. ;) I've been editing what Birch says at the beginning... or shall we say Azure. Professor Melissa Azure is the new Prof. I'm going to have to upload her sprite. I'll be sure to show some screens of the edited texterooni, very soon. :)

That excited? ;) Well, I have new screenies now, since I'm finally able to edit text! A godsend! Anyways, here are the shots. BTW, are you that excited for Pika Woods? Well, it will be super fun and cool, and'll have a great plot so I'm not surprised. I'll try and work on mapping it pretty soon.

Hey blueguy. What can I say? This looks awesome! The screenshots look great (and congrats on finally learning how to edit text!) and Terruff, for example, is an awesome starter. I don't really like Ignewt, but that's just me. I've spent too long in my pyrophobiac character's shoes =x

Anyway, I'll be keeping an eye on this, partly because it looks awesome and partly because you told me to. Keep it up ^_^
 
I know! I'm so excited!!! In fact, I have some new screenies involving the editing of text. :) BTW, since you're the only one you actually can here (except SoniChaos), don't you like Ignewt's evo's? They're really good! Like the backsprite I made for it? Anyhoo... the only evo I've released is Fluidran so far. With this post I'll reveal Snarleaf, Terruff's evo! But first, the new screens.

By the way, the first page has been drastically edited, to anyone who wants to see a clean and edited version of the clutter of my thread. :)

BTW, the backshot of Hydrorn looks too much like Squirtle. For one thing, it has arms. Arms no good! >_<

The evo.s are really good, especially Hydrorn's last and Ignewt's middle and last. They're sweet! The Professor needs to be sprited by me, which I'll do fairly quickly. The only problem is how do I insert it in place of Birch at the start. Anyone know?

How did you know!? ;) Yeah, I accidentally left the arms. So sue me. I'll fix it. :)

Sorry I was gone...this hack is really exellent. But a little tip about the sprites, they have a little too many black lines, and the fire starter sprite isn't all that good. *no offense* So are you going to do this hack all on your own? I offered to help..keep up the good work. ^_^

Thanks for the positive comments, and thanks anyways for the negative. Constructive criticism never hurts. I didn't actually make the Fire Starter. I made the other two. Once you see what it evolves into you'll be awestruck. So I think I'll cause you to be right about now. ;) It's an excellent sprite.

As for helping, can you do overworld sprites for a new girl trainer and a new boy trainer like you offered before. That'd be awesome.

The attachment is Blazerix, Ignewt's evolution. It was also made by SoniChaos (PokeSonic elsewhere.)

Yeah, I must agree. I myself don't like Ignewt much. But Blazerix and...oh wait, I won't reveal the 3rd evo's name. But they both pwn!
 
Thanks to all! :) You all don't like Ignewt? EVEN the creator? Wow. Put that in your pipe and smoke it! ;) Anyhoo, no one comments on the gym?! Arg!!! Well... as for updates... I don't have any new screens, but I can tell you that I've edited it so that your father will greet you (and no he doesn't say 'honey'), and that the 5th Gym leader will be your mother. She'll specialize in Dark-types.
