I didn't put a poll because there are so many religions, also, it is obvious which one is most common throughout the forum.

So what is your religion?

I am Agnostic myself, I do not really believe in God but I still look into other religions, to see which make sense. I am looking into one now actually.

God is false hope to people that need it.
They say that Jesus rose from the dead.
They say everything in their bible is true.
But, how do they know who wrote it?
How do they know someone crazy lunatic just decided to write down all the things he daydreamed.
What if religion was a lie?
What do you think would happen if religion wasn't around.
Do you think half the wars and deaths happened in those wars could have been avoided because they were fighting over relgion?

...who knows maybe this place has matured abit in the long time I've been gone...

Anyways, I'm a confirmed Roman Catholic, but I'm not practicing as much as I'd like. (I'm always working Sunday mornings). I'm also a fair bit more liberal in my interpretation of the Bible than the more stereotypical Catholic these days...

It's good to see a self-proclaimed agnostic on the Internet that isn't completely shut out to the idea of religion due to increaded cynicism though, for that I congratulate you and hope you find a good philosophy to live by, Ctep. :D

Then human beings would find something else to kill in the name of. Your statement(s) reflect your naivete. But then again your pretty young, so it's all good.

I consider myself spiritual. What I don't claim to know is what god is/wants/loves/hates, etc. Even if we are all just a bunch of hairless monkey's, all this crap had to come from somewhere.

Like with most religion threads, I can see them spiralling down a direction nobody else should ever have to look upon. I know this thread asks simply what your religion is but I am aware that there are certain posters that really attempt to enforce their beliefs, which isn't at all what the question really asked, but it is typical for it to happen and people usually lack courtesy one way or another to those with keen beliefs in their religion...and yes, Von Bolt, I am referring to you as one of them. Even if you didn't intend to offend anybody, I can see your posts baiting for somebody to debate and rebuke.
