Hmm...possible synergy for Infernape, methinks.

Even as a standalone, though, there's potential. If you can find another reliable way to retrieve a fire energy (such as a Stadium), you'll end up alternating between the two attacks. Pretty good, and the rest is alright, too...but it could have used a Grass resistance...

I couldn't agree more. This is the type of card i see that can take out about 1-2 pokemon before being knocked out. easy to navigated, and a good amount of HP on him. i wouldn't use this card in my deck, though.

No waiz.. Infernape is about speed and is sick enough on it's own/with delcatty putting this in just slows both cards down.

Not to say this card is no good. Put it with the PK/RS Blaziken, something to trans energy (can't think of any of the top of my head) and you've pretty much remade a classic Blaze ex deck. Great stats and attack - unfortunately still a stage 2, so a bit slow and can be easily KOd by a Blissey in the process, but a good card none the less.
