2009 New Annual Tournament

Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the first annual pokemon world tournament. Our tournament will begin on Saturday April 18th at whatever time is presumed perfect for all combatants. All trainers participating must register the friend code of all the other contestants before the tournament day. If any contestant is a "no-show" when the tournament begins he/she will be immediately be disqualified and his/her challenger will advance to the next round. When qualifying for the tournament simply reply to the thread with your friend code attached and when all combatants are in you can add their friend codes to you pal pad.
1. No hacked pokemon what so ever. If you think a pokemon is hacked that you're up against report it to me immediately.
2. Normal tournament clause will not be put into affect: Sleep, OHKO, Species, etc
3. Any level pokemon can enter. 1-100 only bring your best.
4. Only officially raised pokemon. Don't bring in a pokemon that you raised up to level 100 with rare candies because you thought you would lose. I can't tell but your only cheating yourself.
5. Team of six is necessary. No more no less.
6. No legends. I will host individual tournaments later for legends.
7. Do your best.
The bracket stands thus so far. Eight contestants are needed to enter the tournament.

As for the victor of the tournament you have a choice of either two things or one of two things. This is also news to anyone partaking in this tournament or just reading to see if they want to enter. My first couple tournaments are being held for more than just the battling fun. I am also starting a league with eight gym leaders and the four elite four and certainly their champion. Once the gyms begin to open you can take them on as well. But for the champion you can have one of any of the four hundred and ninety three pokemon in existence up to pearl/diamond (your choice of course) and you get to be part of my league which all twelve members will partake in a tournament of tournaments where twelve champions will battle it out to see where they rate among one another. Or you can choose to only be a part of the league. Or you can simply walk away with the pokemon of your choice and miss a grand tournament. For any additional info contact me via PM. Registry will be checked daily and chosen contestant will be PM the day they qualify.

Due to technical difficulties both Cosmo and Armando have been landed in a tie. But being the good sport that Cosmo is he has agreed to hand over the championship to Armando. Armando is the winner of the grand opening day tournament that kicks off the new tournaments that i will be holding monthly. I hope to see you all around next month. Be sure to tell everyone thats intrested so we can eventually widen our span of competitors.
