2012: Not just another blog Rant.

    Well since everyone is up in arms about 2012, I figure that I might as well do a little research on the subject.

    I... I'm speechless. On one hand your brain tells you they are blowing smoke, but the other hand says that the smoke looks to be pretty real.

    There are a lot of things that make since when looking at it. I'm not going to say that the wold is going to end in 2012, but you never know.

    One site in particular that really disturbed me was the IHC's, or the Institute for Human Continuity. The link is to the "About" page.

    They think that they can save humanity. They have on their website a "Survival Lottery." LMAO IF the wold is going to end, then how in the hell are they planning to save us?


    The Movie 2012 does look pretty cool and I will go see that, as for if the world ends in 2012: well... Jesus said that "no man knows the day nor the hour" He never said anything about the year; so it could be.:nervous:
     
    I still think that's a load of BS.
    Many other ancient calenders have ended, why the hell would it matter if the Mayan calender ends? The Mayans might have been a big civilization, but there were bigger ones, and there calenders have ended. What is so damn special about the Mayans?

    They do know they have to flip the big wheel over to the other side, right?
     
    Eh.. I don't really believe anything will happen in 2012.

    It was supposed to on 6/6/06 as well.. I spent that day playing videogames with friends, and it almost totally passed me by before I realized what day it was.

    I hear making hats from tinfoil is the only way to stop 2012.

    I think we should all skip it and say it's 2013a, while 2013 will be 2013b. That'll confuse the 2012-monsters and stop them from destroying the world.

    Lulz. Yep. People were waiting for epic doom.. which DIDN'T happen so people wait about 12 more years, and go "OMG. EPIC DOOM AGAINN. IT WILL RLY HAPPEN THIZ TIME GAIZ. SRS BSNSS."

    lol, yeah I almost forgot about the Y2K.

    Uh all of our technology was going to shut down, but that never happened.

    This time they are saying that the earth is going to be hit by a meteor, and Solar crap.

    This dooms day cult is much bigger than any other. and the Mayan calendar was able to predict lunar and Solar Eclipses several hundred years in advance. That's why they are having a cow about it ending.
     
    Just because they're accurate, doesn't mean that they're right.
    OH NOES A SOLAR ECLIPSE!! GUYZ WE NEED PROTECTION!! I didn't know an eclipse meant death.
    One more reason this is all a load of crap.
    They could be off a while, you never know.
    As for a meteor, LET'S CHARGE OUR LAZRZ!! :D
     
    Japan has a Gundam now, so we don't have to worry about some stupid meteors XD
