4th Gen OMG THE GB MUSIC

You get it from the music director in the game freak studio in Celdon City after obtaining every badge. I WANT IT BLUE! I MUST DEFEAT YOU!
Wait... is it an "item" item, or is it for your poke'gear radio
 
Blue is the final Kanto gym leader. I need to defeat him still...

Giovanni left the Gym and Team Rocket. Blue took over.
 
^Giovanni didn't leave Team Rocket..just the gym. I am pretty sure.

That's only in the original games and the remakes of the original games. In the Johto version of Kanto (this sounds like it can be confusing lol) Blue Gary is the gym leader. And Cinnabar Island is destroyed. D:
 
Yep. Blue is like twice as hard because he is an all around type user. You can also still battle giovanni if you get the special event Celibi and go to illix forest.
 
It's an item. You just go into your key items and press "use" and it plays the original GB music until you turn it off. It's hawt.
 
That is epic. I love the new music, but nothin beats the old.

Yes, Giovanni left Team Rocket. Where have you been the whole game when Team Rocket is shouting for Giovanni to come back to them? :>
 
I love the GB Player! I havn't turned it off while playing since I got it =)
 
Considering the title of this thread and the topic brought to discuss, I don't think talking about Blue and Giovanni really counts here. :| So, please lets not bring a perfectly well off thread filled with spam comments on something irrelevant to what is being discussed as hand, which is whether or not you like the GB Music Player and if you use it frequently.

In short, please stay on topic and lets not shift this discussion else where.

For me, I haven't reached the point in the game yet to have gotten the GB Music Player, sadly. Though, I'm pretty sure I'll be using it quite frequently once I do obtain it as nothing beats hearing the original sound from the original copies to these remakes. =)
 
I love this thing as well! I borrowed a friend's AR for a few minutes just to get that- No way i would be able to wait until after red and whatnot
 
I use the original music every other day. It's a really neat item and I'm glad they included it. Months before HGSS was released I posted an idea on serebii about how the should give us the option to switch between old and new music in this game. :3
 
I just got it - remind me when i play back in the 1st gen pokemon
 
So, it's just a music box that plays the original music of the games? I can't wait then? To be honest, obtaining an item such as this wouldn't be that significant to me.

Even if it does bring some nostalgia back into the game, isn't the game nostalgic itself?

It's a key item that, when enabled, it changes the game music to the old game music. it's not just a music box, with it on, you play through the game WITH the original music playing
