It isn't a popularity contest. It's just about applying in order to get your own usergroup with a personal colour, as well as a bigger inbox. Geez, people take this whole thing so seriously, with campaign managers and whatnot.

As long as he doesn't make annoying/offtopic replies, it's fine.

But yeah... It's not a popularity contest. It's just your own usergroup and a bigger PM inbox, and it comes without a catch.
 
...in essence, yes. But it's kinda like MOTM but on a larger scale and semi-annually [not bi-annually, that's every two years isn't it? o.o;]...
 
It's still virtually a popularity contest - We understand what you get if you win, but in order to win, you have to get votes right?

And to get people voting for you, you'll need to be quite popular? Am I right?
 
Or gain the popularity and/or favour of the voters somehow.
 
Well.

That could be a little hard, might be able to gain the supportof the Moveset and Strategy people since they know me there, maybe, you never know.

Anyone know around how many people will end up actually voting?

As in a % of PC?

Am I allowed to post 'election' topics anywhere, and am I allowed to ask people to vote form me when I reply to peoples posts, or is everything going to be crammed in here.

As we've said about 100 times before, you're allowed to ask people to vote for you, as long as it's at the end of an on-topic post.

And as I said before, it isn't a popularity contest. You should only vote for someone who you think actually deserves it. Going around telling random people to vote for you is quite shameful.
