2nd semi-annual Pokecommunity Election

Ty's actually right. what if the mods don't care about that? what if they only wanna help PC? why should they get a colored name that they don't want and a slightly enhanced PM box when a normal member that they weren't allowed to be gets even MORE? i hope i don't get bad rep for this, just stating my point :\
 
We have it for this time so that the members who either aren't quite mod material, or who aren't modded due to having enough mods for a certain area, have this election for themelves ^^ There are only 40 mods, but thousands of members, so it's nice for a member to be able to have a coloured name, larger PM box, and to be visible on the forum leaders page, when mods already have that ^^
 
I think thats the main reason everyone is running James lol, since there are no "real" powers in the position.

Um, being elected President doesn't gain you respect. It gains you a coloured username, larger PM box, and your name on the forum leaders page. That's not how you get respected. For that, you have to be friendly, active, helpful... overall, a good member. Take FG for example. She didn't gain popularity by being elected Vice President. She was quite popular way before then (considering she was also modded after the election).
 
@DF- well, there's thousands of members that are also inactive or don't deserve to win/aren't running, so... @_@ there's only like thirty-something candidates anyway. and as i recall, mods have a larger PM box for reports (when the hack was installed), a colored name so members know that they're a mod, same thing with being on the Forum Leaders Page. everything a mod gets is due to their helping PC. :\

I'm pretty sure this is a question thread too, so I'm going to ask some things. Don't get to confused @.@

1) This is semi-annual? When did it become semi-annual?
2) If possible, can you give me a rough date when the votes will be done counted? I don't remember what it was last time. Sorry. ;;

And pichugirl, I think VP is whoever gets runner-up in the elections. Correct me if I'm wrong.
