OMG, 30 for 1 generic energy and bypasses resistance... and it's only a stage 1.
I think they've set a new standard with the DP series, like how they did with the e an ex series.

40 for FF is not bad either, plus you get to do an extra 20 to a benched one, so if you can get him out ASAP, you can get rid of some benched basics before they have the chance to evolve.

His major drawback is the weakness to Psychic class, because all the previous Grass class Poison types are now Psychic (don't know why... it's plain weird!), but +20 isn't that much of a deal because he has 90 HP, and most Psychic classes don't do much damage...

Anyway, if you play him, you need to get him out quick, or he becomes rather useless when all your opponent's basics evolve.

    8/10 - a good fast card.

What else to say besides what Solrays mentioned already... it's insanely strong early on. 90 hp on stage 1 is very powerful. 2 fightning energy is easily obtained to start throwing aura spheres left and right. Retreat cost is very reasonable too.

However, Lucario is pretty useless later on... 40 dmg just won't cut it too well when the opponent is also stage 1/2 or even stage 3 through level up to those Lv X thingies.

It's not *quite* strong enough to be your heavy hitter, but its a GREAT speed card. This sucker could get you four prizes like that, and your opponent will be reeling.

You'll definately put 'em on defense if you can get this card out on turn 3 or 4(or hey, turn 2 if you're mondo lucky).
