Yeah i read that on serebii too. IMO Diaruga and Parukia are better than Dialga and Palkia, Mantyke isnt too bad i guess.

Uhhh... Diaruga and Parukia are pronunced Dialga and Palkia in Japanese, kthxbye. o.o

Dialga and Palkia are direct romanizations from their Japanese names...just like all other legendary pokémon.

Mantyke is a good e nough name...as if names matter anyways.

Ni I hate them they sound horrible, I don't know why Pokemon US can't stay with the original names of the Pokemon

there's nothing wrong with them, at least i don't think. what's bad is that mantine has gotten a pre-evo when it's an already crappy poke.

...But Dialga & Palkia ARE the original names, just spelled more smoothly (and pronounced the same).

Crystal Clair: Okay, I'll take my cookie now XD

    Meh MEH MEH MEH MEH~

Mantyke. I don't care much for it, but the y should be replaced with I to make it look better or something. Mantine sucks, though, so I don't care moochu.

Dialga. At least they kept the (romanized? yes? no? who cares) Japanese names, so you won't get weird stuff like Tymerant, or some crud like that.

Palkia. Read Dialga, and you SHALL UNDERSTAND.

That is all I have to comment on this. :(

Honestly, this is typical when English names are reveiled. Months will pass and you will say "Dialga & Palkia" instead of "Diaruga & Parukia".

what is itt with you people saying you like japanese names more? it's the same thing....

im going 2 nicname my pokemon because i always do (dodges silver bullets) so it doesnt matter what their names r, at least 2 me it doesnt.

    Me wants cookie. x3

I think it's silly how many people are complaining over Dialga and Palkia. It's just like with Lucario--those were the intended romanizations. Nothing was changed--"Dialga" and "Palkia" are not "English" names. I guarantee you that there is Japanese merchandise out there with those names on them. *Waves around Japanese key chain that is labeled Lucario, not Rukario.*

It's just as silly as saying that Myuu is a better name than Mew or that Ratiosu is better than Latios. (although I admit that I often nickname my Legendaries off of their raw romaaji names. ^^; Just a little spice o' variety is all.)
