Sets Announced for 2014-15 Season Formats!

    So, basically, the current "Modified" becomes known as Standard and will be Boundaries Crossed and everything released after it, as well as BW55 and higher as well as all XY ones for the Black Star Promos, and the new BW-on format is going to be referred to as Extended and will allow everything released since BW debuted as well as all of the BW and XY Black Star Promos.

    And from now on, all sets will become legal for both formats 21 days after their official release date, rather than an arbitrary amount of time as was the case in the past.

    Thoughts on the rotation and the new formats?
     
    Yes, this means Skyla still remains in the current rotation. Though, I might want to consider utilizing the extended format as some of my decks will be rotated out

    Skyarrow Bridge
    Prism Energy
    Ho oh EX
    Roserade DEX
    Devolution Spray
    Level Ball
    Super Rod
    Gardevoir
    etc...

    Mainly, Level ball is the most important here. There are alot of fun decks also being put down

    Most of the better EXs are still legal due to Legendary Treasures, though, and most of those trainers can be filled in for with some of the newer cards.

    Too bad for Gardevoir, it really helped with psychic energy Acceleration.
    At least Dark Decks are getting slowed down with the loss of dark patch too.
