July 6th

Started PGO! Picked Charmander as my starter and set off for a short adventure before it got dark.

July 7th

I was having major server issues earlier today, but it was resolved by the evening and it turned out to be a pretty productive Go day.

Caught at least 50 Pokemon (not all different, of course, tons of Pidgeys and Rattatas - gonna have enough candies to evolve my Pidgeotto soon) and reached level 7.

Undocumented days. Here is a dancing Pachirisu.

I'm sure I did some other things today, but all I can tell I did from my screenshots is I hatched a Gastly.

I kept wondering what was happening while I was at the liquor store - Pokemon just kept popping up in the 10-ish minutes we were there but it turns out it was because someone had used a lure nearby. :D

In short, the main div has overflow set to hidden so it has all the content in it, but you can't scroll to see the rest - you have to use the anchors (buttons) on the left to navigate. If you wanna learn how to do it yourself you're welcome to look at the code or message me. :D

JULY 20 - 21 ENTRY

I'm happy and sad that PGO is finally in Canada - on the plus side, I can mooch off of others' lure modules:

They're everywhere!​

But on the negative side I think the server has been a lot more crowded lately; midday in particular I just can't really do anything (I restarted the game and had to catch the same Seel 3 times), and I often can't collect things from PokéStops. Evening-night is fine though, usually.

But all in all, the positives do outweigh the negatives - I was in the Chinatown / Downtown area and there was just a stupid amount of lured stops there, compared to before, and I can finally experience what it's like to bump into people who are also playing. :D

Hitmonchan! I've only seen one of those so far, nice find. The place with the lake lures looks like a nice catching spot :).

Thanks! I was actually in the car when I saw the Hitmonchan, thought I was going to miss it, haha (passenger, not driving dw :P).

And yeah, it's a really pretty park in Chinatown!

All in all, a pretty uneventful day, except-

PORYGON PORYGON I CAUGHT A PORYGON​

So that kinda makes up for the rest of the day.

For the bulk of my evening, I was at a mall - the fountain on the first floor is a big PokéStop, so naturally someone put a lure on it and everybody just flocked around the place.

I kid you not, the entire time I sat there, with the exception of one Paras only Pidgey and Rattata appeared.

To this day I still haven't used a lure of my own, I imagine I'd be a lot more salty if that happened with my own module, lol.

Congrats on the Porygon and Magnemite! Wish I could fin those in my area. So very elusive.

I'm so jealous! Congrats getting that beautiful Porygon. Now I just need to hunt one down...

Thanks, you guys! I couldn't believe my luck either - as far as I know Porygon can just appear anywhere randomly, right? Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to their appearances so far.
