New evolution methods/items? I guess that's for Pokémon like Poliwhirl and Gloom who have a branched evolution. Hopefully anyway, because I've got loads of candies stockpiled for evolving most of the others that evolve in gen 2 and I don't want to find that they're not necessary!

Article updated with minor info. Pokemon storage space is 50% cheaper for the rest of the month starting 'afternoon feb 16th PST' (so <24 hours).
