    MonoColour Challenge​

    Hello And Welcome to the MonoColour Challenge of the Third Generation. In This Challenge You Have To Choose A Colour And Choose A Team Of Pokemon Which Fall Into That Colour.
    For Example : If I Picked Purple I Could Use Crobat, Muk, Sableye , Espeon , Gengar And Ekans.
    If you wanted a Pokemon which you had to evolve from a Non-Chosen Colour pokemon then you can use that NC Pokemon and evolve it as soon as you can. Eg: If you choose Purple and want a Starmie then you could catch a Staryu and evolve it as soon as you could find a Water Stone.    ​


    You can have a Maximum of 6 Pokemon in your team though 4 is recommended and you can use 2 HM Slaves. Of Course that is up to you. HM Slaves may not be used in battle. Legendaries Are Allowed If They Fall Into Your Chosen Category - 1 Per Team
    Emulators Are Allowed And You May Hack For Your First Pokemon Only! The Rest Must Be Obtained Legitly.
    The Colours To Choose From Are :
    Red, Blue , Green , Yellow , Purple ,
    Pink, Brown ,Black ,Grey , White.​

    We're allowed to use Pokemon that evolve into a colour, i.e if I picked purple and wanted Starmie on my team, I could evolve it from Staryu right?

    Okay cool, thanks, I'll probally post my first update when I reach/defeat Brock, I'll be starting some time tonight :P

    I've got my team planned, it's going to be

    • Arbok
    • Weezing
    • Muk
    • Crobat
    • Starmie
    (Might change)

    *Using an Emulator & Fire Red so I'm going to hack to get Staryu as Staryu is only obtainable in Leaf Green.

    They have to be MOSTLY of that color? Can you give me a rough percentage?
     
    My team for the blue challenge is:
    Swampert
    Swellow
    Exploud
    Heracross
    and two HM Slaves:
    Marill
    Nincada
    Im gona start my challenge now :)

    I have now gained my first gym badge from Roxanne with a team of:
    Marshtomp Lv. 16 with Water Gun, Tackle, Mud Slap, Mud Shot.
    Taillow Lv. 14 with Wing Attack, Peck, Quick Attack, Focus Energy.
    Marill Lv. 5 (HM) with Tackle, Defence Curl.

    EDIT:

    I have two badges now and my team now is:
    Marshtomp Lv. 18 with Water Gun, Tackle, Mud Slap, Mud Shot.
    Taillow Lv. 18 with Wing Attack, Peck, Quick Attack, Focus Energy.
    Whismur Lv. 17 with Pound, Uproar, Astonish, Howl.
    Marill Lv. 5 (HM) with Tackle, Defence Curl.
    Nincada Lv. 6 with Scratch, Leech Life, Cut, Flash.

    I will update after obtaining my third gym badge.

    I already won the Stone Badge.

    Marshtomp Lv18: Tackle, Growl, Mud Shot and Water Gun.
    Whismur Lv16: Pound, Uproar, Astonish and Howl.
    Zigzagoon Lv 3: Tackle, Growl and Cut.

    I didn't know Whismur was so slow because everytime I tried to attack an Abra it teleported before I could do anything.

    I'll update when I get the Knuckle Badge

    I have got the Dynamo Badge from Wattson and have been to Verdanturf Town and am about to go to Fallabor Town.

    My team at the moment is:
    Marshtomp Lv. 25 with Mud Shot, Water Gun, Mud Slap, Tackle.
    Swellow Lv. 26 with Wing Attack, Quick Attack, Peck, Focus Energy.
    Loudred Lv. 25 with Uproar, Pound, Supersonic, Howl.
    Nincada Lv. 6 (HM) with Scratch, Flash, Leech Life, Cut.
    Marill Lv. 5 (HM) with Tackle, Defence Curl, Rock Smash, Strength.

    I have got two more badges from Flannery and Norman.

    My team now is:

    Swellow Lv. 33 with Wing Attack, Quick Attack, Peck and Endeavor.
    Loudred Lv. 32 with Stomp, Uproar, Supersonic and Pound.
    Nincada Lv. 6 (HM) with Scratch, Flash, Leech Life, Cut.
    Marill Lv. 5 (HM) with Tackle, Defence Curl, Rock Smash, Strength.

    6 gym badges now and my team is getting much more powerful, but my Nincada levelled up due to my other pokemon dying in a double battle.

    Swellow Lv. 37 with Wing Attack, Quick Attack, Fly and Endeavor.
    Loudred Lv. 37 with Stomp, Shock Wave, Supersonic and Pound.

    Marill Lv. 5 (HM) with Tackle, Defence Curl, Rock Smash, Strength.

    I'm going to have a break due to playing all day and will probably update later today or tomorrow.

    I'll do a pokemon FireRed runthrough using yellow pokemon, on an emulator.

    My team will have:
    Pikachu
    Bellsprout and evolutions (hacked in - LG has them, not FR)
    Drowzee/Hypno
    Ponyta/Rapidash
    Sandshrew/Sandslash
    Psyduck

    Bellsprout's pokedex colour is green, but come on. It's yellow. If you disallow it, I'll think of a new team, as this one is pretty diverse, so....
    I'll start this as soon as I've finished my normal type monorun.


    And can I hack in an everstone for my Psyduck to hold after level 33? It'll be a pain otherwise.
