As promised, I did all the Dewford stuff except for Brawly. He is going to give some later teammembers Exp instead. Somehow I managed to fight my way to Mauville, and around here, Skitty learned Covet, this 40 BP move is currently my main mean of attacking.
And I already beat Wattson. On my first attempt, I beat Voltorb and Electrike with ease (Covet 2HKOd both), but against Magneton, it did nothing while that thing could 3 or 4HKO Skitty. I hate Magnetons so much.
Next attempt: Bought 6 X-Attacks and gave them to Skitty. In the meantime, Voltorb used Selfdestruct which didn't do too much damage and Electrike howled its own attack up and only attacked once or twice. One Super Potion and a Covet later, it was dead. Next was the dreaded Magneton. Covet did a bit more than half (and that with +6 attack, wtf?), it paralyzed me and did some massive damage with Shock Wave before dying. His last Pokemon, Manectric also did some huge damage to Skitty, which barely survived, but at least it did survive. Wattson got no parahax and Covet OHKOd.

this is going to be my last gym leader defeat screeny, since with more Pokemon than this useless thing, battles will become a lot less hard, and thus a lot less interesting.
Next: Getting Slugma. Finally a team of more than 1. Though Slugma sucks as well.

With Covet and Faint Attack instead of the useless D'Slap and Sing, this became a lot better. But it still sucks.
