Hi all! ^_^

I don't often create new threads for my artwork, but I thought I would for this since I'm especially pleased with it. ^_^ I've always been a big fan of The Shawshank Redemption, and thought I'd draw some fanart of it since I've never seen any online and I wanted to draw a tribute to it. :D

I had to leave the computer on for four nights in a row to finish this XD

It was done on oekaki PaintBBS with an optical mouse. :) Hope you like!

Awwwww, thanks, Cybex Mewtwo! ^_^ I've been working on oekaki a lot recently :) It has to be one of my new favourite programs! I actually prefer working in PaintBBS to Photoshop XD I hope you like the art in my thread! ^_^

Awwww, thanks, Iron Mankey! :D Oekaki is a Java applet which lets you paint ^_^ It has some cool tools such as watercolour! PC has an oekaki - the link is in the topmost toolbar, next to User CP and the other options. :)

But Bloody hell FG! This is your greatest work yet IMO, believe me, leaving the computer on for 4 nights in a row was worth this piece of art, its AMAZING, seriously...I really don?t think I have seen anything like it before...I didn?t even think it was possible to produce such a fantastic piece of art on Oekaki...I gotta get myself one of those optical mouse things XD

But for the love of all things sacred FG, this is bloody amazing, so realistic I would say you just bought the official art and posted it as your own XD But of course...I know your capable of many things FG.

This defiantly deserves a spot in the Poke Times newspaper XD, awesome work ^_-

I might make a tutorial for a Pok?mon drawing on PaintBBS ^_^ A realism tutorial would be very time-consuming, but I could probably do a Pok?mon or cel-shaded one! :)
It takes a lot of patience to do the details - I generally see the image as one big canvas rather than parts of clothes, face, background etc...it all merges together for me and that makes it easier to manage! ^_^
