Does anyone have a mirror for Shufflejoy's Psy/Spec/Status patch?

Here's an IPS patch that applies version 1.4 of the Emerald patch, has all of the moves set to the correct Physical/Special/Status byte, and has the icons installed and working. Warning: I didn't take note of where I inserted the image or the ASM, so back up your game first.

does anyone have a mirror for this? i tried following a tutorial on how to insert the images myself but for the life of me i will never be able to understand hex, so i'm trying to use this. thanks in advance!

doesn't, has a physical special split link in their signature, that's why I used for mine. it works but doesn't have icons.

and if you don't know hex then just open a converter.

the problem is, i don't know how to insert the actual code. i've inserted the image and kept track of the hex, and i've been following this tutorial, and while i didn't have any issue downloading and inserting the .ips patch, i have no idea how to even start on this part of the tutorial; i've been trying to follow along with this tutorial, but i ended up with no more knowledge than what i had started researching with and an insult to my intellegence.

I understand the copy-pasting the contents of the .bin file into the rom, but then i get to step three of the icon-insertion tutorial above (according to the first guide i referenced, the original tutorial doesn't quite work right), but i get stuck on step three of the correct tutorial- it says to "Replace some Hex-Values on offsets", but i literally just can't find the offsets spoken of. what am i doing wrong?

alright no problem new fix, go to this link and download the tool there. Close any programs you have your rom open in beforehand then load your rom into that program. simply right click the features you want to add, then click set modified. The program will add them itself. don't know if it adds icons too, but it'll do the split.

You should definitely learn how to make changes yourself eventually but for now just try that. Try looking up some other tutorials on how to script I recommend checking out anthroyd's playlist on youtube for gen 3 romhacking


once you get a better handle on that the tutorial should make some more sense.

also I recommend you get the program hex maniac advance, it makes finding things in code a lot easier.

U can use the tool "TL's Quick Enhacer, and add the Physical/Special/Status with icons in Fire Red and Emerald. Works good with no bugs and its only one click bro
