Making badges are simple, really.
The size should be within 16 x 16 pixles.
You should start with a basic outline-- which is better if black.
ex.
Next, if you want any lines thicker, add more black pixles.
ex.
After, you can make a color key by arranging sets of pixles in the badge, 3 colors: l.green: light color, l.red: medium color, l.blue: dark color; (I use this technique to make my TC TOOL's.
ex.
In the end, add in your light, med., and dark colors to form your final piece of art.
