Thanks to Water Pokemon Master from www.pokebeach.com for the scan.

What a great card. Low retreat, cheap attack, outlandishly high HP and automatic Poison?! Quite breakable with the right combo or Power/Gym to up the opponents' retreat cost. Evil, evil card.

Now Toxicroak is awesome. It seems to have a decent power, stopping any pokemon from being healed from posion from a poke-power/poke-body or trainer card. Plus a card that requries one psychic and one colorless energy for thirty damage and automatic posion is lethal. Now, we'd have to just create a combo to limit the amount of trainer cards the opponent can use each turn to keep the opponent from healing his/her pokemon from posion.

It's simply an awesome card that can be broken if used with the right combo. Even without a good combo, that instant posion that can't be healed by evolving or de-evolving is dangerious.

    Agree with above.

But I must say it is more of an early game card, because its only attack is quite weak even with guaranteed poisoning (count it as 40~50 damage).

Not to mention, having only one attack that is not lethal enough for OHKO may cause some problems against some of the more defensive abilities on some other cards... especially those that seal off an attack, or disables you from using the same attack continuously. Great tank early game with massive power for the energy cost, but its uses fade out later on against the highest evolution ladder competition.

I don't get why it's Psychic but it's a unique card. It can work well as a tech card are it could be in it's own theme type. A nice card for this era that poisons and not bad hp along with it. A resistance would have been a good effect but the reteat cost makes up for it. >__>

Its a pretty good stage 1 but not strong enough to base a deck on.

It has a high HP, but since DP th average HP has increased for stages, as well as the damage, so 90HP isnt so great against the newer cards. Bottom stats are also good, but its attack and power will lead you astray.

It has 1 attack. Which does 30.. Hmm. that is lame. But ooh! it does guaranteed poison, making it 40. However this will likely be out early/ mid game if played (not including a sealed- which it would pwn) so it is likely that the opponent will simply switch to remove the effect.
Once the opponent is poisoned, you have to switch Toxicroak yourself for a more powerful hitter otherwise its back to doing 30.

To whoever asked, all poison types are now written as Psychics btw.
