    This is the discussion thread for the Complete Scan Archive. Please keep the archive thread clean and bring all your discussions here. Please do not pester or annoy the scanners to scan faster and more frequently. It is a voluntary job we don't get paid for, so bear with us and enjoy as we give you all we can. Complete Chapter Scans will be posted here weekly/daily/monthly/whenever Max and Nicoleb has the time to upload scans/yearly. Do not pester/annoy/flame/etc. to try and get me to post scans early and such.

    The scans posted are property of The Pokemon City and Nicoleb's scanslating group, and may not be reprinted in any way. The Pokemon Community or the Pokemon City will not be held responsible for any copyright problems you will deal with for such behavior. However, images from the scans may be used for imaging purposes only - use in avatars/signatures/banners are not restricted.

    Please note, that we will NOT have the scans archived in ZIPs/RARs/Folders/etc, so please do not ask for them. You'll have to download these off one by one. Large ZIPs and such files will kill our webspace, and also affect our bandwidth by a bit. Bear with us and take your time for this.

    I certainly hope these scans of the Viz version won't discourage people from reading my translations, that is, when the other guys get around to editting those pictures and releasing them. Well, they might still be worth a read if you're interested in seeing what Viz editted out (one example that sticks out in my head is the fact that in chapter 3, they toned down the implication that Garoora's baby could've died). Otherwise, I guess there're always the people who are used to reading their manga right-to-left or like Japanese names.
     
    The Golden Boys V1 scans that I have are read left to right. :3 The tradition lovers will enjoy that most probably.
     
    Somrthing About these scans...
    They're a bit badly-qualited but I really like them because I have the chance to read the manga, finally! Can't wait for Golden Boys one but I will wait.
     
    They've been placed into Grayscale mode, so the random page colors don't affect the black print. That's actually better than what you'd get it if you had the proper scanning of these. >.<
    Golden Boys'll probably be coming up next week with PSP1~2. I'll do alternative weeks so I can get Magical Pokemon Journey up too.

    Not sure. I've got a day off from school tomorrow, maybe I'll try to annoy the people over MSN to be faster. I expect them to get off their weekend break and get me more webspace sometime tonight.

    Pokemon Adventures Scans (1-9) - READ FIRST

    Hello, Minna-sama. As most of you know, Jesse-chan and I are scanslating the Manga known as 'Pocket Monsters Special.' We're also doing an edited version of the official translation by Viz and Chuang Yi known as 'Pokemon Adventures.' It'll take a while to do, so I've decided to scan the unedited version of Viz's translation. (Volumes 1-9 only for now.)

    Updates will come eventually, so please wait patiently. I've got a lot to do these holidays. I update in Chapters, not Volumes. New chapters will be highlighted.

    But before you read it, note that the Japanese version of PokeSpecial is NOT like this. Not at all. Viz enjoys raping Manga, you see. Den-gaki Pikachu, Pokemon Adventures, One Piece, the list goes on and on. The only Manga translation by them I remotely enjoyed was Magical Pokemon Journey (PiPiPi Adventures).

    So, anyways, this translation makes Red into a bratty American stereotype, Blue into a little b, and Wataru into an arrogant and heartless bastard. You'll also find "darns" and "goshes" like no tomorrow in there. Just remember, the ordinal comic IS NOT like that. Don't be thrown off. Just wait patiently until Jesse-chan and I scanslate it.

    It almost killed me, not editing Viz's Manga-rape. But I know a lot of people would prefer it unedited (God knows why). "That is so dope!", "Geez, is it Lavender Town, or Leave 'em there Town?", "I'll show that buffoon!", "Gosh darn it!", "No-one gets in Lance's way!", "I understand why you think he's your friend...". JUST IGNORE THAT, OKAY?!

    (NOTE: I AM NOT scanning Volumes 10+ because, apart from cutting out the swearing and changing all of the names to English ones, they were perfectly translated. Jesse-chan will be scanslating all of PokeSpecial (1-21), and I will be editing the Viz, and maybe the Chuang Yi version of Pokemon Adventures to my taste. So don't Email or PM me about scanning the other ones unedited because it ain't gonna happen. If you want them right now, contact Christen. She ships worldwide, and I'm sure she would be happy to help. Volumes 10+ are worth owing. But if you want the rest too, I'm not stopping you.)

    And I'm sure I don't have to point out that anyone who uses these scans on their own Websites without asking or giving credit will die, right? ^_^

    (BTW, scanning project not die coz nicoleb and Jesse-chan no lazy like some annoy people say. They always argue me. ^_~)

    Perfect, what a saving to Pokemon City's webspace. Now I can dedicate the space to PiPiPi and Golden Boys entirely. =D I'll have Akinari merge this post into the Full Chapter Scans archive.

    Yeah. It'd be good (and faster) if you'll unite. Nicoleb could scan Adventures and S.E.M. could scan GoldenBoys and PiPiPi.

    Wow. Thanks ive been looking every where for Pokemon adventures. pokemon comics are very hard to come by in the UK. Thanks. any plans to upload chapter 15/volume 3?

    DININI Nicoleb already said that she'll be updating the releases shortly. I think that better wait because a volume in a row is too much. :P
