I like this card. Now I'm no pokemon card critique professional, but this card has that extra something to me. It's pokebody, Dark Genes could prove to be useful, If not annoying, to aid in your enimies defeat. The attack power of dark wing flaps isn't the greatest, but at least the ability of the attack gives you an advantage, especially to one who plays against someone with lots of engine cards. It's retreat cost is nice, and it's HP is high enough so it can tangle with the other cards around it's stage without much trouble.

Overall, I say 8/10, Just don't rely on it too much...

Yes i love this card even though its a dark type its really decent for a stage 1 card. decent HP and pretty good attack. good for s psychic deck if you want your opponent to run out of cards quick. this would work well with a castform giving you a double dark energy count :)

Oh, we like. Mainly for the fact that I'll be keeping this baby on the bench and sending out an army of three other Murkrow.

Good HP for a Stage 1 in this format. Good attack as well. Okay weakness and resistance, and good retreat cost for Honchkrow.

Then again, only worth rating the attack, as the rest will all be Murkrow stats 75% of the time. :P

7/10, I'd say. If there are any combos, possibly more.

It's hand control with good damage, what can possibly go wrong? One Pokemon having the energy allows a few more others use the same attack without any energy to discard even more cards. Really, a great Pokemon to consider for any deck that will use dark energies. You can't make it the central theme of a deck due to the low damage, but it's pretty brutal as a support of disturbance strategy.

    8/10

(This set comes out next Wednesday, right?)

Hmm...somewhat "meh" HP for a Stage 1 right now...but, then again, where this card really shines is the Poke-Power. Give this thing enough Energy and you'll have Murkrows swarming everywhere and your opponent without much of a hand...Of course, it needs other Murkrows in order to be useful, so that's the only trick. As for the bottom row,...fair Weakness & Resistance, and low retreat cost.

7/10 simply because it needs other Pokemon to show its true potential.

I honestly don't know any other stage 1 with 100 hp ><; I don't see how is this thing's hp "meh" for a stage 1, honestly. 100 hp for stage 1 is like, bow down to your Pokegod, and 90 hp is good, which is exactly honchkrow's hp...

Yeah, but to get the most out of this card you need to play it as early as possible. You'd most likely need two of them in a deck accompanied by four Murkrow to extract te full usefulness of this card, because if your opponent has like an Infernape lv.X out, you'e not gonna be relying on Murkrow trust me. It's all about timing with this one, which may mean certain cards to fish out the Honchkrow in order for it to work. Not saying it's the only way Honchkrow functions, but the best way: Get it as early as possible!
