8th Gen And Junichi Masuda Gone?

    Hey I'm new here and to competitive battleing or for fun on the official games to the 3ds and Nintendo Switch. Looking forward to the Nintendo Switch, finally a console for Pokemon games!!! since Junichi Masuda is gone for future games will 8th Gen begin after he is gone or has he already been around since they most likely started the designs and future core game for the Nintendo Switch or will we have to wait and see for 9th Generation?
