Hmm. Chlorophyll is good (take React Energy as an example here), and Green Blast has the poential to do serious damage. Toxic Sleep is...good, I guess. All hail two-condition-inflicting attacks.

110 HP is good, too. Has some fair potential, and the Body might play a part in future combos.

    I'd give it...Modified 4/5.

Oooh a Rare Venusaur card - averaging around 4 per box or a guaranteed holo in certain CG theme decks, making this fella easy to nab ;)

Very decent HP, could be that 10 HP better however. Good, but not the best type (not many good G types are common these days - strong against Armaldo/Nidoqueen, however Steelix has the resistance). Not a very good weakness (macargo, Ludicolo d, Typhlosion, Flareon ex etc) but it'll live for quite a while. The worst resistance ie. none and a pants retreat cost.

Its attacks and body make up for this beauty of a card though ;)

Green Blast: an awesome move! Similar to Gardevoir exs/Sunflora UF/Gorebyss HL devastating attacks except its only G on your side of the bench. Load up energy and blam! for a nice amount of damage.

Toxic Sleep: another decent back up attack. Not only a full 2 damage counters per turn and auto Sleep (oh damn-theres Steelix ex..) But this is very easy to pull off if this card is played right.

COMBOS:! This is the main beauty of the card IMO!. By abusing Chlorophyll, this card is a beast causing massive damage with Green Blast! Lets see what energy cards should be played! how about..

    - Boost energy (3 G per turn!? Yes please!)
    - Holon GL (Counts as a grass & has added benefits!)
    - Double Rainbow Energy (2 of any energy types? stick it on a benched and add on the +20)
    - Grass Energy.. Well Duh..
    - Venusaur POP2

Brill card. However extreme competiveness in the modified format might make this is a bit difficult for this card to show its face.

    8/10

  • Nice card. Use Toxic Sleep in combination with Swalot from Ex:Crystal Guardians. His attack will give 50 basic + 20 more for any status condition. Only in use with a grass deck. 8/10

  • I'd give this an 8/10, liek OMG you can use Boost energy with Green Blast, that's like 50 damage, but I only gave it a 10 because of it's painful retrea cost (and you can't retreat with Boost energy lol)
