I have a few questions here concerning Pokemon Ruby. I hope they can be answered as soon as possible.

    I was wondering:
    • Were do I catch an Absol
    • Were do I catch Salamence
    • Were do I catch Metagross
    • Whats is the best item a Sandslash can hold
    • How do I get a Pokemon with a Naughty rating

    Thanks.

    1. Absol can be caught on Route 120 that's to the right of Fortree City.
It's kind of rare so it may take a bit, it tends to appear more often
when it's raining in the area...I dunno it could just be in my head...lol

    2. you can catch it's Pre-evolution Bagon in the Meteor Falls lowest level
you need waterfall to reach the area, it's somewhat rare so be patient.

    3. After you become the Champion go to Steven's house in Mossdeep City
He's your pal so he left you a Bedlum on the table.

    4. uh...probably scope lens, I dunno really...just depends on how you play.

    5. LOTS and LOTS of breeding, well just breeding until you get one with the
desired nature...don't bother saving before the egg hatches as the nature
is determined when the egg is created.
for wild pokemon , just catch a whole bunch of 'til you get one with the
    proper nature.
if you want your Bedlum to have a naughty nature save right before you
go into stevens house to get the pokemon with Bedlum in it.
and then just keep taking it 'til you get one with the right nature.
it's the same for the starters...uh...I think that's all your questions
    hope I helped.

well since 3 of them are answered already...

a Pokemon with naughty is just random... there's a 1/16 chance to have it. But... why do you want to sacrifice special defense?

    next time questions like this can go to simple questions ^_^;
If the answers are just factual and are objective, then just ask it in the simple question thread

as for sandslash, it all depends on your sandslash's setup. But however, most Pokemon won't use any items besides the following
    -salac berry
    -petaya berry
    -liechi berry
    -leftovers
    -lum berry
    -quick claw
    -choice band

White herb is also used together with Overheat user, such as Moltres, or even psychoboosting Deoxys FR.

Thanx, as for the Sandslash question, I though an item that boosts ground attacks would work or somthing, Like soft sand.

To be honest, items like Soft Sand don't boost attacks to the point that you'll actually notice. So they're not really worth it.

they only give you a boost of 1.1... DO NOT USE 1.1 MULTIPIER ITEMS!

you'll be doing a lot more damage with things like stat boosting berries... 1.1 multiplers are only used ingame and ONLY. Should you ever walk into a battle with anyone in real life, dump them all off asap (except for charcoal on Moltres in GSC)

Kyogre needs the mystic Water to OHKO Mewtwo doesn?t it? With Water Spout of course, not that it?d get a full power one off in theory, but?. Bleh.

if by magic that Mewtwo goes slower than Kyogre, yeah... Mewtwo should be going first and be able to pull off a STAB psychic or thunderbolt to knock off a good portion of Kyogre's HP weakening water spout enough for whatever comes out next to survive (provided that it has a good sp.def like Gardevoir)

    I'll much rather take lum berry on Kyogre... if you got thunderwaved, then really anything will be reducing your hp a little at least every turn weakening water spout severely. Plus now I don't regard Kyogre itself as strong as before, but the permanent rain dance and that Gorebyss to come out after it... ;_;

I doubt Kaiorga would ever go faster than Mewtwo on turn one to pull of Spout, unless the Mewtwo user was very stupid. It might go faster on turn 2 if it had Salac Berry..i think that's the one that gets speed.

Can Mewtwo ever OHKO a Kaiorga? My Mewtwo always ends up leaving every Kaiorga it faces with a tiny chunk of HP after a first move Thunder and it has 447 Sp. Atk. I do't know what most Kaiorga's Sp. Def is but, it's high enough. Each time I battle myself I can never kill Kaiorga in OH.

Nothing can OHKO Kyogre in one hit with the exception to OHKO moves, or unless there's critical ^_^; As close you can get is a Deoxy-FR using a sp.att boost nature using thunder, or Zapdos using Thunder with magnet. That may actually knock out Kyogre in one hit, but in NB you really won't be using thunder to begin with (just bolt) unless you also have a RD team.

If I'm right in saying that Kyogre is Water/Flying, then yeah that should work, but he is Ledgendary after all.
Kyogre is pure water so yes it'll live thunder...

what's so ubar about it above all others is a WONDERFUL ability to call on permanent rain dance. Not only does it boost its already STABed water attacks, but also help out with the entire team by simply making an appearnace. The poor thing is that he is the legendary out of the legendaries, while some legendary like Articuno and Moltres, are not even comparable with some non-legendary standards.
