Figured I'd try one one of these =3

    Started Legends: Arceus today =D
Still getting used to the controls, but the gameplay is pretty fun so far =D

Anyway, after doing the tutorial bit where you catch the starters I was taken to Jubilife and I kept going until I got my starter before exploring the town. Went with Rowlet in the end.

[PokeCommunity.com] a Glaceon came crashing down from above

Explored the town and couldn't really do much so I did the opening mission to catch starly, bidoof and shinx and completed it. Then I explored the town again before heading out for the next mission and got four side quests/ requests =3

I spent a full day out there just catching and battling mons for research tasks. Gotta see the sights and explore!
    Spoiler:

Right after I finished a fight with a Shinx, I panned the camera around to look for new mons to fight and there was a shiny Shinx behind me!
Was slightly nervous about fainting it, but caught it! =D
3 hours in and already a shiny =3

    Here's the little whippersnapper:
[PokeCommunity.com] a Glaceon came crashing down from above

Turned in my report again to progress the game and saved and quitted before talking to akari at the training grounds =)

Progressed the main story and got a new field camp after catching the first Alpha of the story.

[PokeCommunity.com] a Glaceon came crashing down from above

After I that I just went around town for new requests and did as many as I could. The Bidoof one was kind of annoying, I found one and then had to research the entire town again for the other two. They were hiding in the shadows lol

Also played around a bit with the photography thing:
    Spoiler:

Went outside for a really long time before progressing the story more and did a whole bunch of research tasks. Also bumped into my first Eevee, which is now an Espeon!
I haven't used it in a really long time and am considering using it on my final team. Hisui Braviary is really tempting too though ^.^
Only fixed team member atm is my starter Rowlet (which is a Dartrix now).

Some bickering blue dude and pink girl showed up and want me to go calm a Kleavor now. Ugh, zealots.
    Spoiler:

Not much in the way of story progress since my last post since all I did was fight Kleavor's warden, then report back, and now they want me to go back to Kleavor again.... was this back n forth really necessary? lol

Found and caught a bunch of new mons though: Buneary and an Alpha Lopunny. Psyduck, Mothim, Burmy, Cherubi (only a single one so far), Scyther, Pikachu and Pichu.
Also caught an Alpha Rapidash, Bibarel and Graveler. Wanna go back for the Alpha Heracross at some point, but atm I'm still just doing random research tasks while roaming the first area pretty much xD

Reached star rank 5 just now ^.^

I've done everything I can atm with the Rowlet line and Espeon so I'm boxing them for the time being. Currently leveling up 4 Staravia's to get Staraptors. Got an Eevee on my team that I'm happiness evolving either for Umbreon or Sylveon when it can. 6th member atm is an Alpha Bibarel because I need it's Water type moves to hose down some Ponyta for research tasks.

    Currently a Seven Star Member.

    Dex Progress: 60 Seen / 53 Caught
Detailed Dex progress in the spoiler.

    Spoiler:

Now that the Wurmple and Bibarel lines are Perfect in the Pokedex I only kept one of each stage and released the rest. Roughly 3 boxes/pastures worth of mons.
Just realised I could've released the excess shinx line mons too.... next time lol

Some things of note since last post:
-Found wild Kadabra, Shellos and Gastrodon for the first time and caught a bunch.
-Found and caught a Mr. Mime.
    -Caught an Alpha Alakazam.
-Dartrix evolved and became Hisui Decidueye.
    -Captured an Alpha Floatzel.

Currently a Seven Star Member still (getting really close to 8 though).

Detailed Dex progress in the spoiler.

    Spoiler:

    Things that happened:

-My Staravia's evolved so I now have Staraptor registered.
-After doing all currently possible tasks for Sylveon evolved another Eevee into Umbreon and did the tasks.

-Released two boxes worth of Shinx, Luxio and Luxray
-Caught Happiny, Magikarp and Machop for the first time!

    Currently working on:
-Searching for Kricketune during the day to defeat them.
-Fainting Drifblim with my Umbreon's dark type moves at night.
-Also occasionally checking for the Alpha Rapidash so I can finish off the rapidash task.

Been a while since I last played Legends, but picked it back up roughly a week ago and made some pretty big progress =3
I was busy finishing off stuff in Pokemon X, Alpha Sapphire, Crystal VC and Ultra Moon on the 3DS.

Caught a bunch of shinies, including an Alpha Lopunny!

[PokeCommunity.com] a Glaceon came crashing down from above
[PokeCommunity.com] a Glaceon came crashing down from above

And yes, the Ponyta is the quest Ponyta, which is my 10th shiny so far in this game, meaning I caught 9 others before it xD

[PokeCommunity.com] a Glaceon came crashing down from above

Also finally went and quelled Kleavor's frenzy (at 90 hours of play time lol) to progress the story and unlock the second area... which I haven't yet actually gone to lol
Wanna finish Flareon's move related research tasks and Perfect Mr Mime before I head there (only need to defeat 2 more Mr. Mime and I'll be done with it)

Grinded as much as I could in the Cobalt Coastlands and then went back to the Obsidian Fieldlands for some exciting Magikarp splashing action!
Also rounded up the remaining whisps there, went to the two islands I couldn't reach before, and decided to work on perfecting the Chimchar line at that point due to the Alpha Infernape I found there.

After quite a bit of back and forthing between the areas available to me to wrap up as many Dex entries as I can, I've now reached the point I consider it time to move onto the 4th area next time =3
Not much left I can do atm really... Magnemite is proving annoying as I only get 1 or 2 per Distortion and you need to catch and beat quite a lot of them. Can't be bothered to stick around for it right now xD

Being able to catch Manaphy and Phione was nice though, just look at them:

[PokeCommunity.com] a Glaceon came crashing down from above

    New area!

I talked with Ingo and some blue haired thing came and interrupted us with it's arrogance.
Rather than going inside the cave right away I opt to explore the beginning area more, finding two wisps in the process and spotting a 3rd that's out of reach from this end. Found a Galaxy Member way out by following the water.
Guess I need to go into the cave. Can't do anything out more out here. No different/new mons yet either.

Tried to go off on my own inside the cave, but am forced to tag along with the geezer... blegh.
Oh control is handed back to me right before the exit... you fools! *Runs off to explore the caves* :fufu:
Found and caught a Gible and found another Wisp.
Pretty sure there will be at least 1 Unown in here... Yep, behind the Rock/Smashable boulder.
Well exploring that didn't take very long. Easy cave. On wards.

Mirrors leaping out of Boulders huh... makes total sense. Reunited with the geezer after exploring the immediate area, and we bump into the Blue thing again. One Strong Style Flame Wheel from my Rapidsh wins me the fight.
It announced it's return, but I couldn't care less.
Explored the next area, did a Request and stomped all over Ingo's team. Gained the Sneasler mount, but don't feel like fighting the noble yet.

    Spoiler:

After exploring the area pretty thoroughly, I went back to town to complete the wares request and accepted three new requests.
I went back to the Highlands to start the grind. In between the grinding I went to where the next lord is, expecting a trainer battle first.
My 'little Pokemon' mopped the floor with the blue thing's Pokemon. Ugh, what a horribly conceited character.
Afterwards I went back to grinding research tasks.

After a considerable amount of time grinding and running out of stuff to do, it's about time I go fight the noble.
All that's left in this area are 'see it leap out of ore deposits' and 'see it leap out of trees' research tasks.
So I go grace the blue thing with my presence and end it's suffering of waiting for me indefinitely. Your welcome.

    Spoiler:

After a frantic, but not very hard, boss fight I obtain another plate. I head back to the village to turn the mission in.
After some cut-scenes I go around town taking new requests and completing most of them straight away.
I fight Akari on my way out and triumph with no problems whatsoever.

I head to the fieldlands first to do a request, then head back to turn it in. I'm now ready to go to the 5th and final area.
Paldea is calling for me to explore it however, so Legends will go back on the shelf for a while =P

Been a while since I played this game...
    ... a good 2 years.... dang.
I've only been booting this up for Hisuian evos for mons and not actually playing it. Gonna change that now, still need to do the final area =3

Due to how long it's been I better re-familiarize myself with the controls and mechanics first though.
I keep hanging out in the Obsidian Fieldlands when I need to evolve stuff as well so I'll just run around here for a while.
I encountered some Cherrim and Cherubi from trees back when evolving stuff as well as now... are they more common now are am I just getting lucky?
Oh well... they're pretty far along, research task wise, might as well try and perfect them.

Did Bonsly as well, needing only 1 more seen leaping out of a deposit when I saw the last Cherubi and Cherrim leap out of a tree.
Also saw a Nosepass leap out of an ore at some point and saw it update so I started checking ores for Nosepass as well.

Eventually I perfected all 4 of the nuisances, First Cherrim, then Cherubi, then Bonsly, then Nosepass. Marking all the trees and ores on your map really helps to familiarize with where they are. Initially only marked the trees. Once I wrapped up Cherubi and Cherrim I started marking all the ores in the area the PokeDex said Bonsly & Nosepass were found.

I also saw a couple Pachirisu hop from trees while I was hopping back and forth between two areas for Cherubi/Cherrim trees. Still need like 10 more for that one. I'll pick that up at a later point. Wanted to knock out a couple of these more annoying research task, don't wanna have to do them all in 1 go lol.

Anyway, with that grindy return to this game over and 4 more Dex entries perfected... time to head to the new area at long lost!

[PokeCommunity.com] a Glaceon came crashing down from above

After talking to the people at the camp I go catch my first Snorunt and then keep catching them for a bit as I explore the initial area. I could probably cross to the other side easily but head into the icy tunnel instead. I come across my first Bergmite and nothing else.
Upon exiting I notice some Swinub and Piloswine and head for them. Found my first Lucario at some point too.

At some point distortions started showing up. Ignored the first one, but attended the second. Nothing useful except for Scizor it seems. Need to kill it with fire a bunch of times.
There's also Snorunt around so I keep catching Swinub and Snorunt hoping for Light Snorunt and Heavy Swinub. It takes a while. I keep fainting Piloswine with Grass moves while at it.

Oddly enough Glalie requires heavy specimens despite Snorunt needing Light ones... for Froslass then, perhaps?
Dunno what qualifies as light but if I look at Snorunts that are under 33 lbs I got exactly 10, which is how many Light Snorunt I needed.
Guess I'll just evolve the lightest one... hmmm no, all are male except the heaviest one from the lightest 10 lol

Froslass. Catch and catch Alpha's.... so no Light specimens either. Wth... what's even the point of the Light specimen Snorunt then lmao
Well anyway... gonna quickly go back to the Fieldlands to grind out the Snorunt lines' move tasks. And the Swinub line after that.
After that I did the Snover line as well and then the Bergmite line, evolving one for my first Hisuian Avalugg.
While doing Hisuian Avalugg's research tasks I spotted a yellow balloon before I even heard the shiny noise and caught it. Lost count long ago... that's like my 4th or something?

    Spoiler:

Once I was done with the rest of the move related tasks I went back to the snow area to catch a second Alpha Swinub to help speed up Mamoswine's move related task. While there I fainted some more Swinub/Piloswine and Snover and Snorunt. Ended up completing Swinub's tasks aside from the quest related one. Also caught the Mega Glalie once due to it being a task.
Then I went back to the Fieldlands to resume Mamoswine's move tasks. 40 Strong style blizzards. Ugh.

Once I finished that up it's back to the snow area again. I beat up some more Pilosine and Snorunt and catch the Alpha Swinub and Piloswine a couple times to help complete Mamoswine's tasks. I perfected Pilowsine at some point. Did all I can for Mamoswine, need to find it in the wild now to finish perfecting it.

Once the Swinub line was done for the time being, I focused on the Snorunt line and perfected Snorunt. Saw my first wild Froslass while catching some Glalie. Checked it's tasks and fed it 4 times before fainting it. Only need to catch 3 more and I'd prefer to stack that with the catch Alpha task. Defeating is also a task so yeah.

Once Snorunt was perfected I left the area and re-entered to reset the Alpha Glalie a bunch of times. Can double cross off the heavy and Alpha requirement so might as well. I also beat down some regular Glalie with Steel moves every time.
After a couple rounds Glalie is perfected. Had 2 more Froslass show up at night too. Got the food task done and killed them.

I then explored the main area of this place more. I started catching lots of Bergmite, both in the tunnels (saw one hop out of an Ore here) and around the place the game wants me to meet up with the others. Once I had enough Light specimens I started killing them. Also made sure to feed enough of them. Caught a couple Snover and an Alpha Abomasnow not far from here as well.
Caught my first couple Rufflet while exploring this main area as well.

Once the only thing left for Bergmite is seeing it leap out of deposits I start exploring the tunnel openings I saw in the ground.
Might be able to complete Avalugg's catching tasks by evolving, but don't wanna return to camp yet.
I catch my first Hisuian Zorua inside the hole near the Glameow... thought it was a Glameow as well at first lol

I explore the other 2 holes in the ground and they reconnect. The Icy rock is down here.
A space time distortion then formed and I burned 3 Scizor to death to get the defeat Scizor tasks done. Need to catch 4 and have both forms now... which I guess is both genders.

I head back to camp and grab 4 Scythers out the box and check my stash... only 3 Metal Coats. Gonna need another distortion then to catch 1 Scizor. I evolve 3, both male and female present amongst them. It unlocks both forms. Just need 1 more Scizor now.

I then grab the 4 heaviest bergmite I have and evolve them. These 4 count for heavy Avalugg hopefully.... they were all above 260 lbs. My next heaviest is 254.6 and I need 1 more heavy one... guess I'll try. It does. Sweet. Need to catch 6 more of any weight for the generic catching goal.
There's probably an area with them though, so I'll hold off on that for now.

Need to catch Zorua at night, which it's not atm. Need a better spot for Snover too. I think I'll just explore for a bit now.
I explore the little inlet where I encountered Rufflet and find Alpha Gardevoir... no idea if I need it so I just leave it be for now.
I keep spam catching Rufflet to meet both catching tasks. While I'm busy doing this a distortion forms and I head over. I manage to catch a very stubborn Scizor at it. Scizor perfected.

When I leave the distortion it's night so I head to the caves for the 2 Zorua spawns I know of. I catch both and it's day again.
I explore around the water abit more and talk to the guy who wants to know where some guy called craig is.
I then break open the cave across the river and find nothing of note inside of it, aside from a Wisp. 11 remaining now.

Next I explore the slopes up, leading to the lake and Snowpoint Temple. I catch more Rufflet and an Alpha Chimecho here. By the time I finish exploring here it's night again so time to pay Zorua a visit. Looks like you can get each only once per night? Gonna be annoying then.
While waiting I heard the sparkling sound though. Nothing in the cave. I went topside and found a shiny Bibarel.

    Spoiler:

I next head towards the area with the Pearl Settlement and find the guy the other guy was looking for at the base of the waterfall.
Next I head for the settlement and explore it. Afterward it's back to the geezers to complete the request.
The old geezer has a new request afterward, he wants a fiery Pokemon. I grab a spare Ninetales out of my PC and give it to him to complete that quest.

I then resume alternating between catching Rufflet at day and Zorua at night. When I have 10 light Rufflet I try catching Alpha Gardevoir but the stingy thing turns around exactly as I try to throw my ball every time. Eventually I just fight and kill it due to it having Recover. What a nuisance.

Now that catching them is done, it's time to start killing Rufflet. I pull an Alpha Electivire out of my boxes for this.
Once that's done I head for where I found Lucario and catch my first Riolu. I also find Unown Y while scaling the walls here.
At the top I see a Crobat flying and catch it. Probably a task for that... yep. I then catch an Alpha Lucario.

I keep exploring the new area and find an Alpha Garchomp that I leave be for now and a hole in the ground that leads to an Alpha Froslass. I catch it.
That just leave the slopes up to the arena. Nightime again so Zorua time. I also check out the path to the arena and find an Alpha Machamp. Think I've been everywhere now outside.... where are the Avaluggs and Mamoswines at? =O

I then start doing Rufflet's move tasks on the Snorunt and Aipom at the start of the area to perfect Rufflet.
When that's done I evolve 5 into Braviary and start doing it's move tasks. 70 strong style moves, of which 25 need to be Brave Bird. Ugh. Also 40 Esper Wings, but that one shouldn't be as bad.... more PP + no recoil damage.

While doing that slog till it was done I also started doing other tasks as well... defeating Riolu with Flying type moves, defeating Zorua with Dark type moves (after I finished it's catching tasks)... and wasting tons of balls trying to catch that Crobat a couple more times.

The game crashed while doing the above so I got to redo 30 minutes of stuff. Ugh. On the plus side, while wrapping up the kill Zorua task for the second time I had 2 Bergmite pop from ores in the same room so... different progress this time lol.

After repeating the lost progress as best as possible I focus on leveling and evolving 4 Rufflet. They only need 1 level.
While doing this I catch a bunch of Alphas in this area... basically all of them have a catch Alpha requirement lol.

That just leaves catching 5 of them while they're in the air for Braviary, which will double count for bringing the number caught from 10 to 15 as well. No idea where they are though.... only flying mon I've seen here is Crobat.
Guess I'll do the catching task for Riolu next and defeat any Lucario that might show, while also hitting up all the Alpha's aside from Glalie, with 2 Zorua in my party so they can level up a bit.

Catching Chimecho's Alphas is the first thing I finish. Chimecho's other remaining task is quest related so I'm done for now.
I then end up perfecting Froslass and completing the catch flying Crobats task. Assumed there to be a Crobat wild encounter somewhere... looks like I'll need to fight the remaining numbers for the defeat task on the Alpha in... I think it was a cave in the highlands?
I'll worry about that later. For now... gonna keep running the same route mostly, only omitting the mons I no longer need anything from atm.

At some point I finished catching enough Riolu, shortly after finding Unown U high up on a rock near Alpha Gardevoir.
On a subsequent run I came across a group of Haunter and heard the shiny sound. I was apparently at the outbreak.... should perhaps check those more often... kinda tend to ignore them.

    Spoiler:

I next finish off perfecting Bergmite as I see the last one needed leap out of an ore at Froslass' cave. Or so I thought... it was my 10th, apparently I need 15 to perfect it. Misremembered how many I need. Anyway... while there I decide to inspect the pillars and I find Unown O.

I next end up finishing the defeat tasks for Garchomp and Lucario. Still need to stun both... I wonder how effective Snowballs are.
I'll leave them be for now I think.... wanna stockpile more stun items first. I come across a normal Lucario and try out the snowballs... 4 for a single stun. Mud balls are better then. Not gonna try them on the Alpha. I get 9 stuns on it before it runs off.

I then take a break from my constant Alpha killing to go to do the New Wares yet Again request. The guard at the camp constantly bringing it up has gotten annoying. I also take a new request from the board and pay 250.000 for 1 more satchel space.
I head to the crafting shop and buy the remaining recipes, costing me almost 100.000. I sell off all the Star Dust and pieces and treasure items I have afterward to get some money back.

I then complete the New Wares Yet Again request. Oh sweet I can just buy Sticky Globs now. I buy 86 of them. Got 14 in storage so that makes 100. I then head back to the Icelands so I can go stun Garchomp and Lucario at the end of my Alpha round up route.
I do this and then head for Alpha Gardevoir which I knock out for the last time. Noticed a new NPC in that area though so I head to it afterward. Ah the Mushroom request.

I hear the geezer out and head back to camp to add a Swinub to my party. I head to each of the markers and Swinub finds some shrooms and a Snover. I complete the request.
Now it's time to start grinding Zorua's move task. 40 Snarls coming right up.
I then evolve the 2 Hisuian Zorua so I can grind out Zoroark's move tasks. Need to defeat 10 of them with Dark moves and stun them 10 times though.... and I have yet to see one in the wild.

Anyway... 40 x Bitter Malice, 25 x Nasty Plot and 70 Agile style moves coming up.
Once that's done I grab 5 Riolu out of my boxes and grind 25 Rock Smashes while throwing them at ores and trees and feeding them Exp candy to have them evolve. Still need to catch 6 more Lucario after that's done, but using the alpha should be faster.... or at least cheaper. While grinding Riolu's moves I come across a shiny Bergmite that I catch.

    Spoiler:

Let's grind the moves first for Lucario. 70 Aura Spheres and 40 Close Combats and 70 Agile style moves. Gonna have to spam Aura Sphere in Agile Style then.
Once that's over with I put 5 Zorua on my team so they can level up so that I can get the catch Zoroark task done with by evolving it.
I then proceed to catch the Alpha Machamp and Lucario till their catching tasks are done, putting 3 more Zorua on my party after I evolve the first 5, so I can evolve them too.

Once I got enough to perfect Lucario & Machamp I can move onto the next thing.
I put 5 Bergmite into my party and beat up some Alpha's to evolve them. Then I put 2 more Bergmite into my party and evolve them to max out the catch Avalugg research task. Whenever I find Avalugg I can just focus on killing them now.

Which leaves Snover & Abomasnow for this area atm. Caught 21 Snover and none of them is a Large specimen. This task is gonna suck it seems. I remember a task like that taking forever in a diff area too. Was about to just release them, but I can evolve a bunch to get the catch Abomasnow task done. I put 5 in my party and head to the Highlands to do the remaining tasks for Crobat on the Alpha.

After perfecting Crobat I fight a couple more Alphas in the area to get all the Snover to level 40 so I can evolve them.
I then notice I never finished Glaceon and have plenty Ice Stones. Still have some unused Eevee's in my boxes too. I grab the level 50 Snover out of my boxes and then evolve a couple Eevees to perfect Glaceon.

Which leaves me with 6 more Abomasnows I need to catch to perfect it. I put 5 Snover in my party again. I'm probably gonna be spam catching a couple hundred of them from the looks, these 5 will probably just have evolved from catching Exp by the time I get all the Large Snover I need lol

Anyway back to the Icelands.... time to spam catch a couple hundred Snover.

Already had 25 Snover caught and 0 Large specimens when I started grinding them. Looks like... 6 guaranteed spawns and 2 spawns that can be either Snover or Abomasnow. Why so rare? =O

Caught my first Large specimen at 38 Snover caught. The second shows up at 44. Third at 51. From 0 at 25 to 3 at 51? =O
Fourth at 54. Fifth at 65. Seventh & Eight at 70 & 71. I also caught an Abomasnow at this point as the 5 Snover in my party can evolve now. Ninth Large Snover at 78. And the last one is the 95th one I catch.

Honestly... given I had 0 at 25 caught I was expecting way worse. That wasn't so bad.
I then evolve the Snover in my party to max out the Catching task for Abomasnow.

Well that concludes everything new I can do here for now, aside from a request or two.
Time to progress the story a bit I guess. I head over to Avalugg's Legacy to talk to the clan leaders.
I meet the next Warden. He challenges me to a battle... I forgot to put my team back in. The fight starts with one of my Abomasnow out.
It gets fainted by a Glalie and Froslass and I switch to my only party member, the alpha Rapidash. It faints the level 24 froslass and 48 Glalie easily with 2 Flame Wheels.

The game wants me to talk to and chase down another Warden. Nah... I'll swap in my party and set free the unnecessary Snover & Abomasnow first =3
Once that's done I go talk to Sabi. I then get to chase her... no she just warps somewhere and I have to go talk to her there. Aww... was expecting a chase.
I first have to go to a hilltop near where Alpa Lucario is and then to Snowpoint Temple.

After a short chat I get to enter Snowpoint Temple. Once inside I inspect the entry hall and go down a path to a dead end. There's no way there isn't an Unown hiding in here somewhere..... right? I stare at the Unown hints... none of these really seem to refer to this place tbh.

I then take the path upward. I arrive at a puzzle and press the buttons in the order of the statues leading up to it. It opens a door. I find a Wisp just beyond... 3 left now.

I repeat the statue order puzzle again, now it's 5 long. I explore the next room for another statue order thingy. Is the furthest away one the starting one? Only one way to find out =P
Steel - Ice - Rock - Ice - Steel - Rock and the the door opens again. I come across an Alpha Gallade in the next hallway. So this is where it was hiding huh =O
It spots me so I stun it and catch it. Stunning it also showed a task on screen. As is catching Alphas. Gonna be a bit time consuming to grind this one out then.

I run onward to the Warden. She sics Electivire, Magmortar and Rhyperior on me all at once. My crew is level 100 so they don't care. Their levels are weird too. Magmortar and Electivire are level 30 and Rhyperior is level 50. I take out the lower leveled ones first to bring the opposing number of Pokemon down. A Strong style Flare Blitz sends Rhyperior into red HP and my Rapidash faints. I send Goodra in. One Iron Head knocks out Rhyperior.

I explore the remainder of the room after the fight and head down the path to the exit. Once outside I fight the Wardens Braviary. Level 54. I shoot it dead with an Ice Beam from Goodra.
I then get taught the magic flute blowing technique to summon Braviary.... which still sounds exactly the same as all of the previous ones. It gives me a Sky Plate as well.
Game wants me to soar down to Avalugg's Legacy but I explore the roof first. Nothing. I look out to the skies to see if maybe Braviary is found flying here... doesn't seem to be the case.

I check the Unown hints again. "Gaze down from atop the greatest glacial legacy". Gotta be Avalugg's Legacy right? I land on top of it and check around the edges while looking down. I find Unown T on a big icy rock next to it.
I then grab a piece of Eternal Ice and get a text message from the Pokemon 'god'.

The first warden of this area shows up again for a chat. I have to go meet him at the Icepeak Arena next. Time to fight the Noble I guess. The hint for Unown ! says it's on a dead tree by the hot spring.... I checked the hot spring but must've missed it.
I check all the dead trees in first person and find it high up dangling from a branch... sneaky. That leaves Unown E and Unown F.

"A lone tree in a pond in the grove". Grove? What grove? Gonna need to check the map.
Grueling Grove in the Fieldlands. Don't see any other groves.
"A stony outcrop over pools of mud on a mighty mountain". In the Highlands I guess?

I head to the Grueling Grove in the Fieldlands. I look at the tree and find Unown E clinging to it in the foliage. Well hidden, easily missed.
I then head to the Highlands... pools of mud... I can think of only 1 place tbh. Near Alpha Goodra, right? I find it clinging to the rocks near Alpha Goodra. They're so much easier to find if you actually follow the hints lol... found most of these by just exploring though.

Anyway, Unown has been Perfected now. Back in town I head to Galaxy hall for a new Request. I take 2 new requests from the bounty board and make the Chimecho one my active quest. I run around town for a while to find a new roof for Chimecho to dangle under.... only for it to end up hanging under the roof it already was at.

Was about to leave town to go do the Vulpix request when I noticed the map say there's still a new request at the survey hall.
I find the new request downstairs. Mani wants me to find evidence of people living at the avalanche slopes.
I run upstairs and see a new marker on the nurse. She wants 100 Medicinal Leeks. I got 410 of them stockpiled so I just turn it in immediately xD

I make the Vulpix request my active quest and head back to the Icelands. I talk to the guy from Alola and then search for some Alolan Vulpixes =D
Also the Avalanche slopes huh. I find my first one not far from the Alpha Garchomp. I find the rest of them just out in the open on ledges and hills or behind a rock. I round them all up and activate the other request.

It guides me to a pair of Snorunt. I pick up a Journal they left behind. I read it and get sent to the Snorunt again, but this time a Froslass shows up and we fight. I get the missing pages for the journal afterward. It wants me to go back to the village.
I first go complete the Vulpix request. Was hoping to get to catch some tbh, but I do get gifted one.
I put it in my party and evolve it for Alolan Ninetales which perfects Ninetales.

I now only need to catch and defeat some Vulpix to perfect Vulpix as well. Saved those for later thinking there were wild Alolan Vulpixes in the ice area... kinda bummed there aren't. :sadwick:

I first stop by the village to turn in the other request I just did. I then head for the Coastlands to go do Vulpix and see if I can get any Aipom out of their trees as well. There were Aipom in the Icelands as well but I never saw anything aside from Burmy/Wormadam leap from those trees.

Anyway... I first check the Aipom area trees, then head to where Vulpix spawns to see if there's any. Then I idle and wait for a distortion to spawn to catch and kill Magnemite. I then head back to the village and then it's rinse and repeat. Probably gonna take a while.

Was expecting to finish Vulpix first, but several Magneton showed up instead of Magnemite (which is less helpful) so I just caught the remaining ones I needed and perfected Magneton first. Was just gonna evolve Magnemite for that but oh well. I've only seen 2 new aipom leap out of trees at this point.

I complete Vulpix on the next run. No Aipom. I notice the distortions so far always spawn only 3 of the Magnemite line... guess they're capped? That makes defeating 15 and catching 15 even more atrocious as a task imo. Ugh. Magneton (& Magnezone) spawns are also useless now that Magneton is done as well. Need Magnemite specifically.

It takes a couple more distortions, but I wrap Magnemite up next. Only 1 Aipom showed in that time, but I check that first and then lounge around waiting for a distortion... which takes pretty hecking long. Should be able to just check and reset the area pretty fast now.

Got 3 more Aipom to get me to 9 out of 15 fairly fast... then hit a several hour lasting dry spell. Then at last a tree shook again... and nothing hopped out when I hit it. Seen that before a couple times... wonder what makes it bug out.
At some point during a run I hear the shiny sound and glide down to find a purple cat.

Shortly after I get my 10th Aipom out of a tree. A drought follows again.
It takes another couple hours but I eventually see my 15th Aipom leap out of tree. That rubbish is over at last.

I head back to the coastlands once more afterward to check for a shiny Alpha Walrein, Ninetales or Gastrodon. No luck. Would've taken any of those 3 for a shiny Alpha team, but alas.
Back to Jubilife again then... and then back to the Icelands. There's an Alpha here I actually want on my team shiny if possible... but I also got some tasks here I can still do. I can grind Alpha Gallade and search for the last few Wisps. Could also look around to see if there's a change in Pokemon spawns yet. Never found Mamoswine/Zoroark/Avalugg in the wild. Couple requests as well. Anyway...

I make it into night time and fly around on Braviary. I find a missed Wisp high up on a ledge at Glacier Terrace on the way up and then another on a little hill left of Snowpoint Temple.
1 remains. Already daytime again though. I spot an Alpha Mamoswine near Avalugg's Legacy... that wasn't there before... gotta kill it with Fire moves.
I then check around avalugg's Legacy for, well, Avalugg. None to be seen. Perhaps I need to beat the Noble first.

I then go do the Blissey request. I beat up an Abomasnow and watch the scene unfold. Request completed and Blissey perfected.
I then head for the Pearl settlement for another request. She wants me to complete Bergmite's dex entry... silly woman, I already perfected it :sneaky:

    Well... freebie I guess. =P
I then rest until nighttime and head up to Snowpoint Temple and enter to go kill Gallade with some spoopy moves.
I then make my way to the tippy top of the temple again expecting the final wisp to be on the very highest point... nope. I do see a Braviary flying around... gonna need to catch that.

So that's 3 more Pokemon I can perfect with some grinding then. I fly around on Braviary again at night and find the final Wisp high up not far from the Alpha Gardevoir.

I then run/fly the same route over & over. Starting at the Icepeak Camp, checking is the Alpha Sneasel is shiny, then going to kill the Mamoswine and check if the Alpha Gardevoir is shiny. Then fly to the Pearl camp and head up to Snowpoint Temple to run through to the Alpha Gallade and then catch flying Braviary.
Such an annoyingly lengthy jog. At least I can combine it with the catch flying Braviary task by running all the way through and tossing balls at the braviary from the roof. Gonna drop the Snowpoint Temple check as soon as I can though.

I end up perfecting Braviary first, followed by Mamoswine on my next run.
Once I finish killing Gallade with Spoopy moves and catching the Alpha enough times I level up and evolve a male Kirlia & Ralts that I caught that spawned nearby the Gallade. It gets me enough to finish off the catch task and Gallade is now perfected.

After perfecting Gallade I check in on it once more before dropping Snowpoint Temple from my route.
First things first though... gonna wrap up that Spiritomb request. The kid in town gives me a couple rewards and it's off to the Mirelands. I rest for night time and head to the marker. The kid becomes the last Wisp and the odd keystone disap00fs... the rock that looks like it is still there... did I have it as an item? Well whatever, request complete.

I look around and see a Spiritomb. I stun and then catch it. I then go to camp so I can quickly see it's task... nothing for defeating it and you only have to catch one... figured it was a 1 off Pokemon. Need to spam a lot of moves with it to perfect it though... 40 x Hex, 40 x Dark Pulse and 70 x Strong Style moves.... that's gonna take a bit.

I check out the Solaceon Ruins now that I perfected Unown. They're spawning here now. Should be a nice weak target to spam kill with Spiritomb. I also fight the low level stuff outside. Once Spiritomb has been perfected I head back to the Icelands.

I then keep doing alpha runs, while putting my shiny Alpha Lopunny from long ago and my shiny Alpha Luxray from later on, but still a long time ago by now on my team so they can level up a bit while I kill the alphas on my run. I catch a 2nd shiny Bergmite and a shiny Glalie while doing this.

I at some point start hitting up outbreaks that are in the icelands and get a shiny Lickitung at one =3
I eventually get a Togepi outbreak in the Coastlands and remember Togekiss still needing some work... why not catch them all and hope there's some light ones I can evolve? =3
Gonna be a while though, friendship evo... I put the lightest 3 I caught on the team and I now gotta chuck them at trees and minerals for that sweet sweet concussion happiness. @_@

While killing alphas over and over and using my 3 Togepi as a blunt instrument on trees and ores, 2 more shiny Bergmite showed up.

When the 3 Togepi are ready to evolve a new Togepi outbreak shows, so I go to catch them just in case. I evolve the 3 Togepi all the way to Togetic and it completes the catch 3 Light specimens task for me and bumps my number caught up to 7 out of 10. I then evolve 2 spare Togetic I kept in my boxes as well for 9/10.
I then went back to the village and then the Fieldlands to catch the flying one once. That completes Togekiss aside from the defeat task.

Back to the icelands for the Alpha runs. During one of my runs I hear the shiny sound near alpha Gardevoir. Despite reloading a dozen times I could not find it. Probably saved too late and it already went out of range. Oh well, it wasn't the Alpha Gardevoir at any rate.

A bunch of Alpha runs later I come across an orange Electabuzz, after hearing the shiny sound, in between Alpha Glalie & Alpha Swinub.
And at some point I come across a second shiny Glalie... pity it isn't the Alpha.

I catch a shiny Bronzong at an outbreak and shortly after a shiny Mothim while checking Alphas in the fieldlands before going to a Staraptor outbreak.
At some point I attend a Glameow outbreak and see an Alpha. It's not shiny, but the regular Glameow that spawned right after was. And then at the end of the outbreak another shiny one spawned in.

Caught a shiny Ambipom that I forgot to screenshot and a shiny Kirlia at some point after that. Both right near Alpha Gardevoir. Stingy.
At some point I catch a shiny Snorunt that requires me to reload once due to jank hitboxes on the ball throws and it running away.

I kinda stopped actively keeping track of what shinies I caught at this point, focusing on just grinding out Alpha runs for a shiny Alpha, but after that Snorunt I also caught:
-Hisuian Sneasel (right next to the Alpha, because the game is mean that way).
    -Rotom (outbreak)
    -Stantler (outbreak... I think...)
-Yanma (right next to the Alpha Yanmega, because the game is mean that way).
    -Bibarel (random)
    -Eevee (outbreak)
-Hisuian Sneasel (right next to the Alpha, because the game is mean that way).
    -Ambipom (random)
    -Lickitung (random)
    -Electabuzz (random)
    -Bibarel (random)

I then heard the shiny sound near Alpha Glalie, but could not find anything... even double checked Alpha Glalie by fighting it. Must've spawned in the caves underneath.... the openings of which are too far away for me to reach it without unloading the shiny. :sadwick:

Today I finally caught an Alpha shiny Hisuian Sneasel and then proceeded to use the grit items on it to max it stats and then evolved it into Sneasler. It's so dang tall lol

Time to go fight the Noble at last so I head over to the quest marker.
Volo is here apparently. I chat with Volo and the warden and then go to the arena. A short chat for some balms and it's fight time.

[PokeCommunity.com] a Glaceon came crashing down from above

Avalugg opens with some icy wind from left to right with an opening between volleys. Then there's ice erupting out of markers on the ground and then it launches homing icicles into the air that need to be dodged. Finally there's an ice beam sweep from side to side that I can apparently dodge roll over/through somehow.

I miss the first window to attack with a Pokemon, but then at the second prompt send out my new shiny Alpha Sneasler. Close Combat sends it into red HP and Mountain Gale takes about 60% of Sneasler's HP. Another Close Combat sends me back to Pokemon Touhou. I already took 3 hits and will be downed next time so probably not gonna end well...
... nope. It started combining attacks and I got hit.

I get a prompt about how to dodge his ice beam and a menu asking if I wanna restart the fight or admit defeat.... round 2.

An unfortunate ice beam dodge gets me hit again.
During the 2nd phase after beating it up once it mixes in the ground ice spikes with the icy wind again. I get hit twice before dodging the ice beam again and throw Sneasler out to fight it. It's yellow bar was already low, but better to not risk it.
1 Strong Style Close Combat knocks it out again and I spam balms for the win.

Avalugg gives me an Icicle Plate. A cutscene follows with Irida and Adaman and the 2 Iceland wardens.
I open my map afterward to leave for town but see a new request on the map at the Icepeak camp so I head there first.
Ah, another Balloon race thing. Sure.

I get 25 on my first attempt... missed a few... weren't there supposed to be 50 though... it just kinda suddenly ended and I had time left... must've missed a path.
I get exactly 30 on my second attempt. There were more balloons off onto the distance... were those there last time? Didn't see them at any rate.

Request complete so I head back to town. I teach a bunch of moves to my 3 Shiny Alphas.
I then have Sneasler learn Shadow Claw and Drain Punch over Calm Mind and Close Combat. I stared at Dire Claw but it's 20 Power less than Poison Jab so I ended up keeping Poison Jab.
I then have Lopunny forget Double-Edge and Close Comnbat for Giga Impact and Drain Punch. No Recharge turn for Giga Impact here so might as well.
I keep Luxray's moves as is despite buying some new ones.
I then use Seeds of Mastery to master the new moves.

Next up I head to the quest marker. I spot a new request marker inside the galaxy hall. I talk to the guy who keeps losing his sister and he runs off... then I talk to his sister right after and we now have to go find him... lol
I accept the request and run upstairs. A chat followed by a fade to black and then it's meal time.

During the night there's a commotion and a new mission starts. "Disaster Looming".
The sky takes on an interesting color and after some chatter I have to do a slow ass walk of shame out of town as I get exiled. Rude.
Out in the Fieldlands I regain control after some more chatter.

I take a long detour to check on most of the Alphas for a potential shiny and then head for the marker.
I get directed to go to the worn bridge next. After being refused by someone again Volo shows up.
He takes me to a new location... Ancient Retreat. I meet a new person and more chatter follows.
I get told about the trials I need to do and then get a letter from an Abra outside. Then Irida and Adaman show up and I have to choose one... Irida of course, she's got a Glaceon!

Three missions, one for each of the lakes, activate. Disaster Looming seems to have completed itself.
I set out and head to the Crimson Mirelands. I take a detour over to the lake so I can check for shiny Alphas.
Upon arrival there's a chat with Volo and Irida and then my phone magically opens a cave.

Inside the cave I fight an Alpha Overqwil. Two Drain Punches from Sneasler deal with it thanks to it using Double-Edge.
Azelf then shows up and wants me to demonstrate unyielding will and strike it. I have to throw balms at it and it teleports away the moment one is thrown. After a couple attempts it asks me to quit or not. I mean it's willpower... gotta just plow on, I guess?
It repeats a couple times and then Azelf lets itself get hit. It gives me Azelf's Fang.

I leave the cave and Volo takes us back to the hermit.
After a talk I set out again, for the Icelands this time. I hit up the Alpha Chimecho on the way over and then head straight for the rock in the lake. The phone does Open Sesame again and inside an Alpha Hisuian Zoroark awaits. I fight it with Luxray hoping to double dip and knock out a defeat Zoroak with dark moves encounter for the dex.

Uxie then shows up. A riddle for an eye count. Combee... is 6 right. Zubat is none. Unown is 1. Magneton is... 3? Dusclops should be 1.
    'Tell me each yet all as one'... so individually first and then all? 6 -> 0 -> 1 -> 3 -> 1.
Room for 5 digits... write it as one number then I guess. Seems to work. I get Uxie's Claw.

I leave the cave and pass on traveling back as a group so I can do the request I took on.
I first do an Alpha run and spot Avalugg now spawning near Avalugg's Legacy. I beat 3 up with fighting type moves and continue the run. I also check the caves for potential Zororarks.
None, but I find the quest guy in the small cave near Icepeak Camp. I beat up an Alpha Glalie and see him and his sister off.

I then talk to someone at one of the camps to return to the hermit place. After the chat it's off to the Fieldlands.
After a quick Alpha checkup round it's off to the lake for an instant cave. I enter and fight an Alpha Hisuian Goodra. 2 Drain Punches deal with it.
Mesprit shows up. It asks me some question and then gives me the Mesprit's Plume. Does it even matter what I answer? =O

I leave the cave for another chat. I get dragged off to some ruins immediately without a chance to change anything... rude.
During the next conversation the lake spirits show up and make the Red Chain. I get dragged off again at the end of the convo, back to town now where I meet with Akari and Laventon. I get yoinked along yet again to talk to Cyllene. She reinstates my survey corps rank and sends me after the commander.

Once I finally regain control of my character I spot a new quest marker and talk to a Lucario to start it. Apparently it wants to duel me. I head to the training grounds and a single Drain Punch faints it despite it being the same level as Sneasler.
    Easy request.

Anyway... now that I have control back I'm going to go put my random shiny Alpha Psyduck on my team. Given how long Sneasel took I don't think I can force myself to get 3 more shiny alphas that way... so I'll add this one. No longer need to keep it as Psyduck as I caught a shiny Psyduck in SV at some point so it's no longer my only one. Unless the game forces me to go progress the story again I'm gonna hunt 1 more shiny Alpha.

First I hit up my storage and retrieve a bunch of Grit items and 300 Exp Candy S that I shove down Psyduck's throat to max it's stats and have it catch up levels-wise. It went from level 34 to 65. Actually a couple levels too high compared to Sneasler... oh well.
I then give Sneasler 11 Exp Candy M to also get it to level 65.

I then head for the town exit and Irida starts a chat. She runs off and some townsfolk give me a Max Revive.
Cyllene barks some orders and the game forces me to the Highlands... *sighs*
Volo shows up and give some Max Potions. The blue thing offers moral support... eh, pass.

I regain control once more... this seems to be a new camp near the Electrode arena. I check the map and see a new request marker nearby. I head over. Senki wants me to find his Spheal that rolled down the nearby hill. lol
I find it near the bend, but it just looks at me and rolls off again. I pursue in style by rolling as well.
This repeats a couple times till it's at the bottom of the passage down. I find it vibing at the waterside. Senki shows up and they go back up.

I'm asked to meet them at the new camp again, but do an Alpha checkup round first.
Nope again. I then fast travel back to finish the request. I get my reward and Spheal rolls off again... saw that one coming lol
I then fly to the Highlands camp. I buy a bunch of Sticky Globs and talk to Laventon to see if I can leave the area... I can.

I travel back to the Icelands. Still haven't seen any Hisuian Zoroark here, but I can at least grind out Avalugg.
I take a look at Serebii first to see if there even are wild Zoroark... seems so. Only in 2 spots which look like they're the same spots Zorua spawns at tbh. I mark them and double check. Yep. Probably a % chance to spawn them instead of Zorua then... ugh.

I then do an Alpha round and knock out some Avalugg. Only 2 this time. At 2-3 per run this is gonna take a while.
As I check the hot spring after checking Alpha Machamp I see a Snorlax in there that lies down... I save before approaching it too much and then head over a bit more and throw a Jet Ball at it. In it goes. Still needed to catch a sleeping one.

After the Alpha round I immediately head to Laventon to turn it in and see Snorlax's dex entry get perfected at last. I've check that damn hot spring so dang often and Snorlax was never there. Guess it might be progress related or perhaps it really is that rare.

Anyway one less nuisance to worry about. I then return to the village and talk to Ingo. I saw I could fight some people there when I fought Lucario earlier... feels like a longshot, but I'll see what mons they have I guess.
I challenge Wenton first. Mothim. Thunder Fang. Gastrodon. Crunch x 2. Jolteon. Crunch.

So a nope there. I challenge Bren next. Wormadam. Iron Tail. Gastrodon, the other one. Crunch x 2. Sylveon. Iron Tail.
    Nope again.

One more option so I challenge Zisu next. Ambipom. Thunder Fang x 2. Luxray... hah, look at that pitifully small Luxray... and it's not even shiny either... wanna borrow one of mine? I'm swimming in them @_@
Anyway... Crunch x 2. Zoroark... wait really? =O
I only checked this because I saw I could fight some people, but there's actually a Zoroark here =3
Crunch deals with Zoroark and Honchkrow comes out. Thunder Fang and I win.

Well if I can just get the beat Zoroark with Dark moves task done here that would be a huge help. How many do I need... 5 defeated and 10 defeated with Dark moves. Can't do the Stun with items thing here, but that means I only need to find 1 wild Zoroark to get that done as I can grind the defeat tasks here.
Definitely doing that, gonna take a bit, but better than hoping for a %chance to spawn zoroark in 1 of 2 spots... 9 times... oof.
Anyway 2 done thanks to that Alpha during the lakes quests... 8 remain.

Let's see if I can battle Zisu again right away... I can.
Okay, doing this right away then. Bit of a pity I need to beat 3 other Pokemon as well, but should still be faster than waiting for that % chance another 8 times lol

1 Strong Style Thunder Fang is enough to faint Ambipom in 1 hit, 1 Strong Style Crunch is sadly not enough to faint Luxray so I guess I gotta just double crunch that. Zoroark and Honchkrow are 1 hits without Strong Style.

I leave again once I have 10 Zoroark beaten with dark moves.
I head back to the Icelands. I check the Alpha spawn locations again and beat up some more Avalugg and catch an Alpha one. I also beat up the Zorua in the caves. Then I sleep till morning - evening - morning and check the zorua/zoroark spawn near the icepeak camp and then hit up the avalugg and then go beat up the other zorua/Zoroark spawn.

I repeat this till I've defeated enough Avalugg with Fighting type moves. Or that was the plan... no new Avalugg spawned. Do I need to manually beat all the bergmite? ugh. I'll just return to village over and over I guess.
At some point one of my cave checkups pays off and one of the Zoruas is a Zoroark. I stun it over and over to grind out the research task.
Saves me having to check the caves from now on =3

I start limiting my Alpha checkup to end my round at Piloswine while I continue leaving and re-entering the area while grinding out Avalugg.
It progresses quite slowly as my game decides to limit me to 1 Avalugg per round for a while, but I get there eventually.

With Avalugg now completed there's no reason to keep lingering in the Icelands. Let's see.... defeat a Togekiss. Can't do that atm, I think.
Which leaves... seeing Vespiquen and Pachirisu leap out of trees. Blegh. Fine, need to do them sooner or later anyway.... but blegh.

Off to the Mirelands it is.
I look up if it only spawns in specific trees... no just a rare spawn from any tree in the area near Alpha Vespiquen for Vespiquen. Pachirisu is all over the place.
Well I'll probably finish Pachirisu first then as those also show up there and I already got a bunch.
On my first sweep I see a Vespiquen pop out of a tree. My 3rd.... of 5?
I then hit up the Turtwig outbreak and catch a shiny one. Already have this line entirely shiny in SV, but oh well.

Upon leaving the area I see the numbers for Vespiquen... yeah 3 out of 5. Interestingly enough I found one before I found another Pachirisu =O
Well they live in the same general area so I'll just hit up all the trees I see shaking in that area and then head back to town, over & over.

While doing so I catch another shiny Bidoof.
Several dud runs follow. Then I get both a Pachirisu and an Alpha Vespiquen out of trees on the same run. Only 1 Vespiquen to go.
A subsequent run nets me 1 Pachirisu and puts me at 20 out of 25.

I catch a shiny Geodude at some point while making my Alpha checkup rounds in the mirelands which also doubles as checking for rustling trees everywhere as Pachirisu can be found from trees all across the map.

I slowly but surely keep getting Pachirisu from trees at a rate of 1 or 2 per round, when they show at all that is, but there were plenty rounds of nothing too.
Interestingly, during the round where my 25th and final Pachirisu hops from a tree, I also get my 5th Vespiquen from a tree later on during the round =O
Was expecting to wrap up Pachirisu first, but that was actually pretty close lol

I was kinda hoping I'd get a shiny alpha while doing these 2 research tasks but alas. Given that I now no longer have any research tasks left that I can do right now, it's time to commit to a shiny Alpha hunt... what would I like though. Preferably something close to a camp site as you can only select those when traveling to an area, but something close to a fast travel point would be okay as well.
Additionally... I already caught shiny Alphas in the Fieldlands (Lopunny), Mirelands (the random non-fixed Shiny Psyduck), Highlands (Luxray) and Icelands (Hisui Sneasel). Meaning the Coastlands is the only area where I haven't caught a shiny Alpha yet. Hmm..
Lastly I'd like something with a type I don't have yet. I have Normal, Water, Electric, Poison/Fighting. A partial overlap would be okay, but not both types. So not gonna hunt Toxicroak for example, but the Alpha Empoleon would be an option.

Well let's gander at all the fixed Alphas first, maybe I'll see something I really want...
-Fieldlands. The only interesting ones are Rapidash and Heracross. Heracross overlaps Fighting. Both of them take a while to reach. Would not object to Golbat, but that's night time only and overlaps Poison. Probably not gonna be hunting here.
-Mirelands... Roserade/Honckrow are day only/night only but spawn in the same spot so one of them will always be there. Would overlap Poison with Roserade, but that's not that bad. They're not far from the Arena fast travel. Technically already have a shiny Honchkrow in SV, but that Dark typing would be nice given that I have a mon x 4 weak to Psychic.
There's also Onix which isn't far from the Diamond village. Would actually love a shiny Alpha Steelix. Aside from those... Torterra and 2 Ursaring. Would also love both of those, but they take considerably longer to check on. Tangrowth/Sliggoo would be nice too, but same problem. Might hunt here for Roserade/Honchkrow and Onix.
-Coastlands. Would love an Alpha Purugly, but already kinda tried getting one whenever I swung past it's spawn. Also overlaps with Lopunny while adding no new types. Empoleon, Overqwil, Gastrodon and Mantine are all appealing, but far out. Ninetales would be acceptable, but already got it shiny in another game. Dusknoir is a night only spawn with nothing there during the day so pass. Alpha Empoleon would be dope but it's so dang far... on the plus side, I could check Ninetales, Overqwil & Gastrodon on the way over to it... might be worth it that way. Walrein & Drapion are somewhat close to a camp, but got both shiny in other games already. Machoke and Octillery are too far away unless I turn it into a lengthy route with Drapion, Walrein and Purugly added. Not interested in the rest tbh.
Might hunt here for that 4 Alpha path ending with Empoleon.
-Highlands. Carnivine and Bronzong near a camp. Would be down for a Bronzong. Mismagius would be dope too, but night only. There's other interesting ones like Gliscor and Probopass, but they're all further out. Probably not gonna hunt here.
-Icelands. Machamp is close to the arena camp. Overlaps Fighting though. The Swinub line and Gardevoir would be nice, but I already hit them up while doing that big Alpha round which got me a Sneasel. Kinda just don't wanna hunt here due to hunting here recently so yeah, pass.

Proximity to camp/fast travel wise the Mirelands sounds like the best option tbh. Either Roserade/Honchkrow and Onix. Coastlands has a nice chain of Ninetales/Gastrodon/Qwilfish/Empoleon but I reckon that would take longer to check.
Gonna be one of these two though... or perhaps I could just alternate between them.

    My current shiny Alphas:
