3rd Gen A good HM slave for emerald?

Whats a good hm slave i can grab early on in emerald? that can learn cut etc..

well nincada can learn cut and flash... thats what i used

Nincada is the earliest Pokemon that can learn two TMs, IIRC.

or you can get a zigzagoon, they can learn cut, surf and rock smash

Tropius is the god of HM slaves. Marill can do most everything else. HM slaves are pwnful.

Spheal is a nice HM slave too. IT can learn a lot of moves...

Though you can't get them till later in the game (dunno how far you are), Tropius and Chinchou can learn all the HMs between them.

Tropius: Cut, Fly, Strength, Rock Smash
Chinchou: Surf, Flash, Waterfall, Dive

Tropius can also learn Flash, but it doesn't matter.

early on, Nincada is the best, because it learns cut and Flash
Later, switch over to zigzagoon
the finally, when you get to Mossdeep, catch a spheal.
