Well, (and after a long time I don't post here) I want to do a pkmn tcg re-edition using RS graphics. The idea: Instead of using the old-brand island, where you have to go to the dome, get badges from club leaders and such, I want to use the hoenn league and all 8 gym leaders. I have everything planned, but I don't know how to do the battle system so it looks the same as the actual game... Also, I'm going to use all cards made up to now (yes, all from base to EX: Hidden Legends)... Anyone knows how to make a pkmn tcg CBS?

Sorry, man I don't know how to do that. But I can tell you that if you want to do a TCG Rm2k(3) game, you'll be putting in a lot of work.

yes, I know it's going to be hard, but I still want to do it. The first thing to do is to make the way to play cards (like summoning cards in a YGO RPGM2k3-type game). For playing them, I need a way to "represent" them... That's what I don't know to do, as I need a way to get a starting hand of 7 cards.... But, do you thing this will be possible with RPGMXP?

Having never actually played the TCG I can't be too sure, but I think it could probably be done by manipulating a Pokemon battle system. But I could be wrong.

to manipulate a pkmn cbs... that depends... how are you using the battle system? as similar as the game?

This definitely sounds cool. I hope this becomes a game. Anyway, to the point. You'd have to make a picture for every card. You can also create your own cards using a card editing program. Check www.gamingw.net for tutorials. There's a guy there who created a game called Deus Cards (a RPG card game). You can ask him how he made it.

yay, gaming world again :P however, thanks for the suggestion, I'll try to ask him...

And no, I don't need every image of every card, just every battle charaset of every pkmn (including all forms of Castform and shining/crystal pkmn who were released)...

And to create cards...? Nah, it would be better just with the expansions which were released in both america/japan, as boosters with the name of all the expansions we know (instead of the famous laboratory booster pack and such on pkmn TCG GB).

edit: Wow, I reviewed the page and the game, there's no mail or such for him... And I played the game, it's pretty good.. I might even use that kind of system but... I need to change the sudden attack to a defined attack and to create rulings for all the different cards....
