Suggestion: A League?

    I was thinking the Competitive Battling section should have a small league with 8 members posing as GYM LEADERS which we can battle via WiFi with our DS's, then 4 more members posing as ELITE 4 and the spot for CHAMPION open until a member beats the E4. Winner of Gym Battles could get an emblem in the form of "a badge"

    Regular members can challenge GYM LEADERS as much as they please. But one must have the PC 8 badges to challenge the elite four.

    How I thought we could have it setup.

    Members could send in a registration form explaining why they should be a GYM LEADER by sending in the team monotype they'll be using to an appropriate site monitor. He or she will then decide if it is applicable for the entree to be accepted as a GYM LEADER.

    Once the GYM LEADERs are picked the mods can decide on E4 Members.

    The rules
    - Teams must be level 100
    - Gym Team entrees must be 1 type or a similar type.
    - Must decide on a badge name

    Yata.

    I don't really think CBC is active enough to support something as official as that, right now. Even looking at Tournaments and Events, the threads are kinda inactive as they are and the leagues only really get 200 posts then die out (there are a few active right now and those kinda indicate the activity an official one would get if made now). They follow pretty much that same format, too. While an official wifi league could work in the future, considering the current section activity I don't think there's enough to support anything going on right now tbh.
     
    Despite the current inactivity that Requility mentioned, I think this would actually be a really cool idea :3 Maybe if it happened in the future or something, but I'd definitely want to challenge the gyms lol. Finding enough people to make up the gym leaders/E4 might be hard though considering the potential volume of challengers they could be getting and that people might not want to be battling 24/7 :3 Maybe one or two gym leaders per type idk, but yeah that'd all be worked out way in the future haha. The other problem I can see is that people might not be interested in making wi-fi teams so maybe it'd work better on PO? But then people might just spam a Ground type team against an Electric leader so idk... But yeah lol, I like the idea and I reckon it'd generate some activity :D I think especially if it's designated as official and it's advertised well, it wouldn't be that hard to gain activity for. :3

    So yeah, good idea for the future imo c:
     
    Well, what the Gym Leaders could do is set up days and times when they're available. That would mean the competitors would have to try and make it work, but that's better than having challengers battling you all through the night! :)
