    Salamence (M) @ Choice Band
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 36 Def / 140 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Fire Blast
    - Hidden Power [Flying]
    - Rock Slide

    Cloyster (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Shell Armor
    EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 28 Spd / 112 SAtk / 100 SDef
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Ice Beam
    - Rapid Spin
    - Spikes
    - Surf

Explosion over one of the special moves imo, only about 8 speed evs, no special attack, i would put some more into defense or else you will find this to die very easily, maybe some attack to boost explosion.

    Dusclops (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Pressure
    EVs: 252 HP / 28 Atk / 200 Def / 24 SDef
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Pain Split
    - Seismic Toss
    - Shadow Ball
    - Will-O-Wisp

    Venusaur (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Overgrow
    EVs: 204 HP / 176 Def / 16 SAtk / 112 SDef
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Hidden Power [Fire]
    - Leech Seed
    - Razor Leaf
    - Sleep Powder

HP Ice imo for catching Mence on the switch, as your team doesn't like mence at all.

    Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Thick Fat
    EVs: 204 HP / 48 Atk / 104 Def / 252 SDef
    Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
    - Body Slam
    - Curse
    - Shadow Ball
    - Rest

lower it to around 310 special defense and put the rest in attack.

    Magneton @ Leftovers
    Trait: Magnet Pull
    EVs: 124 HP / 160 Def / 114 Spd / 120 SAtk
    Modest Naure (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Metal Sound
    - Reflect
    - Substitute
    - Thunderbolt

    ok =/

Off the top of my head.

After Magneton is dead, nothing on your team can take a Meteor Mash and not die the next turn, but pretty solid team in my opinion.

I'm against the idea of exploding if that's my only physical "tank" or "wall" on the team, but it could use mored Def. Hopefully the SDef EVs will rid me of any fear of Sala. I did discover a DDTar weak though.

Cloyster doesn't need Sp. Defence EVs. Why would you keep him against Sp. Attacks? It doesn'r need that much Sp. Attack too btw. If you really want that amount of Sp. Attack, then go

    EVs: 252 HP / 54 Def / 204 SAtk
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

It'll give you the same ammount of Sp. Attack and some extra points in Defence

    But IMO you should go

    EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SAtk
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

In conclusion, unless you're maxing a stat, alays give a pokemon a nature that favours its highest stat. Since it'll raise it by a percentage, you'll have extra points to put in another stat. This is what I mean:

    EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SAtk
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

This spread gives you 304 HP, 432 Defence and 257 Sp. Attack (which is the amount you used)

Now if I give him a Bold Nature and the same Sp. Attack stat I get:

    EVs: 252 HP / 54 Def / 204 SAtk
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

This one gives you 304 HP, 257 Sp. Attack and 449 Defence, which is significately higher than the first spread. This was achieved because I favoured his highest stat, Defence.

Thank you for a (no offense) redundant lesson. I was trying something out with the SDef EVs. I'm not sure if it works yet.

umm, if that lessong was so reduntant, then why did you give it a Modest Nature?

And Sp. Defence EVs are worthless, I've tried a Cloyster with them, not much useful seeing that's what Sp. Sponges are for.

It's modest because I like to try new things with pokemon. Insight on the SDef EVs were appreciated though.

But if you use Bold and less Defence EVs, you'd get more Sp. Attack

    simple as that.
    <whhheeeee 25>

stop using it since I've proven how useless Modest is

thankfully noted. Next, I'm gonna try a Timid DDMence :P

some new insight has come in and I've changed the team a little
