It's gotten to the point where I don't watch anymore. For one, dawn is well.... ummm... *cough*newagemay*cough* and the episodes are all pretty much the same...

wow, Pokeburgers, I'm still laughing.

Seriously Ash, thrugh all that he's been through, still sucks considering he lost to the first gym in Sinnoh. What a lozer.

HAHAHA...It's funny I should of seen this thread, I just posted on a thread about what fire pokemon ash will get and how and I mentioned something about charmander and how the same thing is gonnna happen becuase the show is to repetitive hahaha*Laughs some more*

Yep. Basically. But hey, I still watch it. I only watch the Sinnoh episodes though..I skipped everything after Season 3 ish of the first series.

Yes, its very repetitive, but Pokemon is one show I don't mind for recycled plots for some reason lol

- At some point, Paul will lose to a Legendary, or Uber Pokemon. Afterward, he'll mellow and become best friends with Ash.

I rather Paul get fried by Charizard DX

- Dawn will lose, or win, still a pretty new concept, so maybe... Who am I kidding? She'll lose.
How true... Not even Zoey/Nozomi would win (just like Richie)

- Ash will lose the League.

And one final note, based on the show's track record, if Ash ever DOES win a League, he'll probably be replaced in the next season with another male lead. So fans of Ash, you'd better pray that he keeps losing.
Very likely so, but don't forget he did win Orange League and Battle Frontier

- Some Legendary Pokemon will lead Ash to the next Region. OR, there'll be some fillers, THEN the Legendary Pokemon will show up.
At least we'll know what to expect lol!

I skipped mid-Johto all the way until Pearl & Diamond, but it's already proven to be repetitive enough. Although I skipped them for different reasons and not because it was getting repetitive.

The Orange Islands were about freshness. I think they do what they can considering Nintendo's main plotting is just Gym Badges mostly. But yeah, Johto overkilled the filler and Battle Frontier kinda returned that quality (it's a negative connection, but a connection).

I've learned to let go and lower my expectations. That's the only way the series won't drive you insane.

strange how many people hated the Johto series in the anime but many find it to be the best region in the games.

Tbh I haven't seen any of Hoenn except the first episode so I can't really comment on those episodes but the new ones are pretty good so far.

I stopped watching the show during Johto, and came back to watch in during Mid-AG, and that became to be my favorite saga ever.

And yeah, the show is repetitive, but who cares. I still enjoy it.

First season is still my favorite. They show still had humor. Honestly the show now since about the Johto generation hasnt. Thye got more serious and mature I get. Factor that in with a repeative plot and you have a really boring show.

Thus I always preferred Digimon when I was younger.
