A couple o' things.

1) The post that Saucy just posted will be after my next post.

Okay guys, I leave for a week long holiday to Spain early on Wednesday morning (GMT) :) So what does this mean for the RP?

Basically, either tonight or tomorrow I'm going to put up all the parts you need up to winning your eighth badge. You can post up to here, and then I'll catch up on everyones posts when I return from Spain. If this causes any problems I'm sorry, but this is the best option I can think of.

Also tomorrow I will add a discussion to this thread to keep everyone amused while I'm away.

Okay heres a basic run down of the rest of the RP:
-fishing boat back to Pallet (already up)
-Pallet Town - maybe a visit home or to Maple to see any stored pokemon?... or just run straight through
-Route One - 2 on 2 battle vs you rival from Oak! See PM's tomorrow for your rivals pokemon
-Viridian City - but whos the leader?

and I think... thats it. If you could get as much done as possible that would be great, I would ideally like to start the elague within a fortnight if possible. So yeah, any questions just let me know (quickly :P)

Well, seeing as I don't have a rival yet, this should be good :) You told me about him, I know, but still. I can't wait to see Venonat again xD And I think I will FINALLY put up a thingy...xD

Should all that just go in one ultra long post? Cause if so, it might take a couple of days for me to make it, but I will xD
 
@Sasuneuchiha - Erm no, it doesnt have to all be one post. If you just post as normal that should be fine... and what thingy?

Oh, and I have put up Viridian Gym if anyone wants to have a look

Also I,Scream has my permission to evolve his Zubat and Growlithe while I'm away.

Okay guys, before I leave you for a week I thought I'd give you something to discuss in my departure. So...

As you know we are near the end of the RP(ish), so the question I want to ask you all is... where next? Heres some options fo you... well its Johto, Hoenn or Sinnoh :P

So heres what you do: Say which region you want to go to next and why. I'm undecided, so your reasoning will be read. Discssion is encouraged, so everyone get involved :D
 
Have a ton of fun, slls! And I think I'd like......Sinnoh, although Johto is the ideal choice....

anyways, yes, hoenn please lol XD. it's pretty much my favourite region because of the many amount of variety of pokemon in that region. not to mention how the places there, town cities and routes, are all pretty cool to explore.
so for me, it's hoenn.​
 
I vote Johto :D I'm not a huge fan of Gen IV pokemon and Hoenn has quite a few surfing routes, which I always find don't work so well in RPs for some reason.

If you REALLY wanted, you even go to Orre or something, or even create your own new region :D
 
Hoenn for me :) It'll be fun to go where my rivals went. Screw the rules, if you really want a life, just join up with Sam. Gyara can do whatever he wants. Anyway, there were surfing routes here, but there were boats. Why not just deal like that? Or for minor ones (East of Mauville to south west of Fortree) you could SWIM xD

Anyway, Hoenn's fun because of the easy plot for it (we will have some, right?) and the variety of pokemon. Besides, it has a Safari Zone, unlike Johto. If anyone wants to argue with me the finer points of this, feel free to VM/Get a Gmail and my email.

Maybe if we want one of them to end up KILLING the other DX

They didn't last one battle before beating each other up, what happens if they get angry in the middle of the ocean while riding a water dragon that's so notorious its even called "the atrocious pokemon" ?

Besides, Johto has the BUG catching contests :D
 
Haha, this is true, but we also have Pika to blow them both up if there's trouble...wait, he's on Sam's side...oh joy xD But didn't they unwillingly get along? Oh wait, unwillingly. Anyway, yeah. Bug catching contest=Nice, but if its anything like the Safari Zone, its a one time thing and anything good's gonna be hell to get. And if its not, people'll just camp outside it trying over and over for that bug they want. Now, I'd agree with your point if there was something OTHER than bugs or if Heracross made it in, but it doesn't :(

Uhg, sorry I've been away Slls. I'm still on Cinnabar with a wild battle, then I have the gym leader, so that shouldn't be too hard. Had finals, but they're done with!!

As for the next region... I've done plenty of Johto, so Hoenn would be pretty cool, Sinnoh. Either one is cool. :)
 
I'm going to a cottage on the beach for a few days...actually until Sunday....

BUT, I'm bringing a laptop for MW, and I'll copy the chapters down! :D

You...don't like bugs? Ew. You're weird.

Besides, it works just the same as the safari zone and there's no reason that slls couldn't even change it into a fully fledged safari zone :\
 
Okay I'm back... had a brilliant time on holiday, came back to a cloudy day in England... oh joy! Haha, its cleared up a little now though... so things are looking up.

Okay back to the RP. Is see its pretty much Johto vs Hoenn. So heres my thoughts...

But quickly a question for Sas - Hoenn... simple story line? To me it seems the most complicated with Team Aqua and Magma to incorparate? Could you expand please.

Johto - In regards to the bug catching contests, I would likelt add in some stronger pokes as well (Heracross etc.), but would run it similarly to how I did the Safari Zone this time around... so yeah thats how I'm standing on that front.

Hoenn - Would be more difficult for me, as incorporating Magma and Aqua in a non-game following story-line could be tricky, I'm certainley not ruling it out though...

So yeah, good discussion.. keep it going :)
