I like this idea. Especially seeing as your random number generator throws u the funniest Pokémon for Warren
 
Sounds good...I hope I get something with @$$ kicking skillz to kick Warren's @$$...and yeah, that joint post will be...hand down the most character important post between these two.
 
I'm totally for that, random pokemon, hell yes!
But yeah, how soon would they hatch?
 
@Amoire of Invincibility - What do you mean? Warren and... uh, Cuddles seem like a perfect match :P

@Izuna - Cool, can't wait to read it :)

@Luigi-a - These eggs will probably hatch fairly quickly. If Devon has been studying them, then obviously they've been in the egg for a while and will be nearly ready to hatch.

@drunk¬_¬ - I like randomness as it can throw up a few interesting situations ;)
 
What pokemon will hatch from the egg? Will only be pokemon up to the Hoenn pokedex? Or Sinnoh pokemon too?
 
@Zeph - Hmm, I don't know I could make it the entire dex or just the Hoenn dex... may as well have another vote (What I like votes :P). So what should we make the range of pokemon possible to be in the eggs? Hoenn Dex only, or the complete pokedex?

On another note, we also need a reason why Devon were looking at the eggs in the first place. All I can come up with is that they were reading for brainwaves to see if the pokemon inside were conscious and able to think... but i'm not completely sold by the idea. If any of you can think of anything better, feel free to post it here :)
 
Well... I wouldn't mind it being the whole pokedex (as I have a Tangela, which evolves into a 4th Gen pokemon at lv 34 with Ancient Power :P)

And on the subject ov Devon - just a bit more research? Maybe they're trying to discover new things about a Pokemon's development inside the egg. Another Idea is that Roxanne could be lecturing pupils in the school about eggs?
 
Yeah, I like the idea. I also like the complete dex idea too. :D

Hmmm.... they could be trying to invent a spray or something that promotes egg hatching? I dunno...

On another note, I was about to post last night, when Izuna shattered my dreams, so it'll be up today for sure!
 
My vote goes to the complete dex, sooo xD Just more surprise in there.

Hm, well since it's devop they may be doing a whole pokemon repoduction research. Maybe they would want to find out why Pokemon create eggs with different species of Pokemon, or how to promote the repro. And the eggs could have been a side-effect of the research, I mean, they would be bound to get some eggs outta the research, why not give 'em to some nice trainers?

dawmn!!! i haven't posted in a while, i know, but i've been working on one, and i should have it up by tomorrow (today? i guess) so don't trip... it's aaaaalll good xD
 
Yeah we're getting close to christmas break so my past week's been full of work on the weekends and concert and tests O_O It wasn't much fun, but I should have time later today to get something in, I had already stared, just had no time to finish it.
 
@Luigi-a - okay cool, thanks for letting me know :)

Okay guys, as you know part of the storyline for Hoenn is Warren/Sam/James's quest to retrieve their stolen pokemon. This morning, I've been writing (well noting down ideas for) the storylines for the Magma/Aqua meetings later in the RP and I had a thought. This only really incorporates 3 RPers, and leaves 4 RPers left out... which isn't ideal. Which leads to a question...

Do the new RPers want to be involved in the Aqua/Magma storyline, or do you want a seperate arc to do while the others try to get their pokemon back?

I've noticed Izuna's planning to JP with... well, pretty much all of you, so Sam could ask for your characters help in these posts and bring you into the arc that way. Alternative Maple could ask her new trainers to help her old trainers get revenge on the people who broke into her lab...

Alternatively if you guys wanted a seperate arc... I don't really have any ideas yet, but I'm sure I could come up with something by the time we needed it, or if you had any ideas feel free to post them.

So yeah, what do you guys want to do?
 
I support my arc, if for no other reason than I'm the one who starts it :) I could run a pretty efficient group of beatin' them down...I think. Still, Warren would be a little better...just sayin'.

But yeah, pretty much any of those could work.
 
I'd like to be involved in the storyline :) Most of us have had encounters with the teams anyway, and I like the idea of working together to kick a$$. We could also play about with the idea, for example, one of the new RPers could come across the stolen pokemon without realising it or something :P
