Name:Miles Rail
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Appearence: Miles has short brown hair, and has a view blonde streaks in it that only show when it's bright out. His hair is usually messy, as he doens't really bother to brush it, because even if it's brushed it looks exactly the same as when it's messy. He has dark, ocean blue eyes. For his age, he's pretty short, standing at least 5 feet. Most people beleive that he's 10 or 12 due to his height and young looks, not that this really bothers him, though.
He usually wears a light blue t-shirt and, occasionally, will wear a button-up, or zip-up bergendy vest with a hood over his t-shirt. He wears baggy, navy cargo pants with several pockets which he can store almost anything in them. These cargo pants have zippers near the knees, so he can usually unzip them and his cargo pants can be shorts. He usually wears black and white sneakers. On his right arm, he has a scar which was from a pokemon attack when he was little.
The scar has healed and is only noticeable if you look at his arm closely. He usually covers the scar up with a wristband of some sort, or a bandanna most of the time. He almost always has a smile on his face.

Personality: Miles is a pretty cheerful kid, but is usually so oblivious or confused about something that everyone either laughs at, gets extremly angry at, or gets confused at. Miles can be pretty determined at times, if it's for something he beleives needs to be done. Miles can be stubborn at times too, to the point where he acts a little childish. Miles can seem like a little kid, who can't really do anything to anyone and doesn't look strong at all, but if he gets pushed to far, he can knock that person's lights out. It's very rare for someone to push him out of his happy, friendly cheerful mode(which is almost always) but once someone does, he can seem pretty intimidating. Miles also has a funny memory problem, he always remembers important things but forgets things that don't seem important. Overall, Miles is a pretty happy, carefree kid.

History: Miles had a pretty normal life as a little kid. He had come to Kanto when he was young, but doesn't remember where he used to live before he came to Kanto. He became friends with his neighbour, a girl who was a few years older than him. He had seen her first pokemon, and saw her fight many pokemon battles against other trainers. Miles wanted to become a trainer, and his dream was to one day fight her and beat her, because he had never seen her lose to anyone she battled.
Miles began to be a little impatient about becoming ten years old to get his pokemon, so he decided to go outside of Pallet Town to try and find a wild pokemon he could catch. While Miles was searching, supposedly, a wild, angry pokemon had attacked him, and gave him a scar on his arm. Miles can't remember the pokemon that had given him the scar, or how it even happened, but some trainers passing by saved him. When his neighbour and "rival" had found out after coming back from a quick journey, she was angry at him, and forbid him to ever catch a pokemon or get one. Myles protested agaisnt this, but she used her pokemon to stop him at every attempt he made to try and get one.
But, Miles, being as stubborn and determined as he is, refuses to have his "rival" not allow him to get a pokemon. Miles will continue his attempts to get a pokemon, and acheive his dream of beating her, and now a new goal, to show her he can handle pokemon.
Starter Choice: Ponyta
RP Sample:
A young, ten year old boy army crawled through some bushes, getting twigs and leaves in his hair. He stopped and moved the leaves near his eyes so he could see what was going on outside. Everything was normal. Several kids who were ten years old were getting pokemon from the proffesors, battling, checking out their pokemon. One of the best days for a ten year old to experience.
Now, the boy thought, all I have to do is get to a proffesor, grab a pokeball, and I'm homefree!! He looked around nervousley, before army crawling through more bushes getting closer and closer towards his goal, the professors which equal pokemon. However, his plans were ruined abruptly when the trail of bushes stopped and he was still a few feet away from the proffesors, including the fact that he would need to get past several other kids to get near the proffesor, which really wouldn't be too hard because of his size he was able to slip past people easily. Again, he looked around nervousley through his little bush-peep-hole, thinking, She can't get me when I'm only a few feet away from reaching my goal...can she?
After waiting in the bushes for a few more moments in silence, litsening to the delighted cries from kids his age getting their pokemon and doing what they wanted with them. Well... the boy thought, it's now or never...!
And with that thought, he dashed out of the bushes. He ran past new trainers, hearing suprised yells from them as he slipped past and evaded them skillfully. His dark blue eyes staring intently on what was infront of him. He neared closer and closer towards the proffesor. Hope began to fill in his heart.
I'm gonna make it... I'm finally going to get a pokemon, the young boy thought with excitment. He got closer and closer towards the professor, and then... he was lifted off his feet. Something had grabbed his shirt and pulled him up, and he was now dangling a few feet in the air. He heard suprised gasps and "Wows!" from some of the new trainers. "Thought you could get a pokemon from a professor this time instead of getting a wild one, eh Miles...?" Miles turned around, well, he was turned along with the giant pokemon that was holding him in the air. A young girl, maybe 11 or 12 years old had her arms crossed and stared intently at Myles. "Well, this is yet again another failed attempt," the girl said. Miles began to kick and struggle in the air, he yelled "You can't stop me all the time, Sis!! Just watch, I WILL get a pokemon!!!" He continued kicking and stuggling, but the girl shook her head. "Come on, Machoke, let's go."
The three of them, well, Miles being forced along in the air, left the area of stunned new trainers and professors, watching poor Miles being carried off by the giant Machoke.
 
L. O. L. C-H-I-N-K! My friend and I were playing New Super Mario Bros Wii, and I think it was the....Chain Chomps! And whenever they moved, it sound like that niose...thats like... c-h-i-n-k. So I kept saying it, and my friend got all defensive.... He isn't Asian though. >.<
 
@Neku - Yeah go on then, Accepted

Did you want to start from the beginning of the Hoenn arc, or jump in at the first Gym (Rustboro City)? The rest of the RPers are in either Rustboro or Dewford, so you would have some catching up to do if you were to start from the beginning. If you think you can catch up though, that's fine. So your two options are:

1. Start from the beginning of the Hoenn arc, recieving your Level 5 Ponyta and following the Routes from there.

2. Jump in at Rustboro. You would have three pokemon, with Levels of 10, 9 and 8. You could choose two pokemon from the wild pokemon that have been available so far in the Hoenn chapter of the RP (the third being Ponyta). If you want a list of what pokemon are available to you, just ask in this thread and I'll PM one to you :)

So yeah, let me know :)
 
I guess I'll just jump in at Rustboro, it might be easier that way.

I think I might need a list of what pokemon I can have, other than Ponyta, too.
 
This is for anyone who hasn't picked up their egg from Devon Corp yet (and to remind me which eggs have already been taken xD):

Eggs 1, 3, 7 and 8 have been taken. Meaning that anyone who still has to pick up their egg can't pick these numbers... okay? cool xD

Ok, here it is!

Name: Kayla Harbinson


Age: 14


Gender: Female


Appearance: Kayla is about 5"4, and is very slim and attractive looking. She has naturally tanned looking skin. Her hair is a dark brown colour that lies straight, down to her hips. Her eyes are a hazelnut colour and are placed a little close to each other. Her nose is short and rounded at the end. On her chest, Kayla has a small birth mark that looks like a heart.

Pretty much all Kayla likes to wear is a slim tank top and a pair of her favourite jeans. Although the style of the tank top doesn't change, the colour does. Every single day. Somedays she likes to let her hair hang down, or sometimes she ties it up in a hairpin shaped like a heart, given to her from her boyfriend. She wears silver and black sneakers, except for when she is lazing around in bare feet.


Personality: Some people may think that Kayla is immature. Most just think that she is a really great person inside, but she has her demons. Even though she's fairly popular, she doesn't abuse that power to get her own way. She loves to listen to and try and fix other peoples problems. She loves her parents, her brother and would never dream of hurting Pokemon if it wasn't for a good reason. She is feels very curious and longing to explore the wide universe of space. Her big flaw is that she has a very short fuse and will go ballistic if anyone sets it off.


History: Kayla was born in Viridian City into a family consisting of her mum and dad, a younger brother and a pet Growlithe. She loved to go exploring the routes and the forest near the city, always getting up to all kinds of mischief. One of her favourite things to do was to pretend she was a Pokemon trainer, battling people and snatching glory! By the age of ten, she had been ready for her adventure for a long time. Unfortunantly, her parents were very concerned for her safety and forbid her to go.

Furious, Kayla snuck out of the house early on the morning that the new Pokemon trainers would set off. But upon reaching Oaks lab, she saw two trainers walk out with Pokemon. That meant there was only one left. When she was running down the path, she heard someone yell 'Oi!' When she turned around, she got a fistful of sand in her face, blinding her, while the cackling boy ran of to claim the last Pokemon.

When Kayla returned home her parents went crazy. They banned her from leaving the town without them until she became a responsible person. Over the next few years, Kayla tried her best to show her parents she was worthy. And finally she convinced them, securing her freedom. And so at the age of 14 she left to get her very first Pokemon.

And yeah that's fine, and you can have your egg hatch as soon as you are ready. Just finish a post with the egg beginning to hatch, and I will let you know what pokemon hatches from the egg :)
