Looks like the writers are repairing their goof-up. A: why bother dragging out the Dawn/Buizel issue for so long? And B: why didn't they just do this sooner? I suppose order has been restored. Heh.
In an odd way, I kinda liked the unusual pairing of Aipom with Ash. Hm. Whatever.

in the second and third pics, they do look happy with their new additions. The writers should have just had Ash catch buizel in the first place and left Aipom out of the story, it'd saved all the drama. But one thing's still bothering me, Ash has never had all his pokemon this early except in Kanto and Johto, but they don't count because he did switch his team up and catch more than he needed to. I hope he does catch several more pokemon except just what he needs to get by, and bring back all of his powerhouses for gyms and the championships.

Su. I guess this was kinda seen sad. I mean I do agree that Dawn and Aipom do go okies with each other. I mean it does okies that now Ash got a pokemon that match him but after seeing the battle against Gardenia. I mean that battle was the best I have seen in a good long while. If Ash had more battles like that then well I be so so so looking forward to see these battles. Teeheehee

Maybe now those two will reach evolution faster. Traded Pokémon do gain more experience, but then again, Anime =/= Games. Maybe this issue will be addressed properly now.

On wikipedia, they never said that Ash had a Raticate, when he made that trade.

Bulbapedia > Wikipedia. On Bulbapedia, Raticate is under the traded section of Ash's Pokémon. Technically, he owned a Raticate before, thanks to that trade.
This trade is different though. It's not like the Pokémon and their trainers are gonna part ways. It's still early in the DP saga; we're not even at the third Gym yet and we've had four Contests showcased already.

They are showcasing Contests more than Gyms this saga. Maybe because of the amount of rivals Dawn has got compared to Ash, who has two: Paul and Nando. Dawn has three; Zoey, Nando, Kenny.

Well that happens after the filler saga. If it's a major league like this one, it'd be like Johto where Ash is going to verse each of them...although I don't want Paul to win. Still Gary no longer interessed in becoming a Pokemon Master. Therefor the odds for Gary to participate in the Shinou league is slim.
Shinji/Paul, well if he's only around in the Shinou region, he is most likely going to be beaten by Ash during the Shinou league. And yeah, league-filler-trainer is going to defeat Ash.
