    I was just watching through some old epiosdes of pokemon online just because I haven't in forever and I came across what I thought was the saddest episode in my opinion. When Jesse and James had to let Arbok and Weezing go. I haven't watched the next episode yet but I don't recall Ash or any of them noticing. Do Ash, Brock and May ever notice Weezing and Arbok are missing in future episodes? I was almost tearing just because how sad it was. Weezing is my favorite pokemon, I remmeber when I was a kid I always liked him, James and Team Rocket as a whole. That'd be cool in a future episode if they came out with Jesse and James being able to re-unit with Weezing and Arbok.
     
    I actually missed this episode, I wish I had seen it then. To be honest to your question though, it wouldn't surprise me if Ash and Brock forgot that Jessie and James owned Arbok and Weezing. I actually wonder if James and Jessie remember them? xD
     
    From what I recall, Satoshi and co. don't seem to notice that they're gone but I could be mistaken since I haven't seen the next episode since ever.

    Flash, Musashi and Kojiro both remember their past Pokémon if I recall. They were referenced in Diamond and Pearl most likely.
     
    They noticed that James had a new Cacnea but Ash and co. have never remembered Weezing and Arbok. James has defiantly remembered his Victreebel and Cacnea but I can't remember an episode where they've remembered Arbok and Weezing. Ouch, they're forgotten.
     
    Its just such a sad episode, James even said "Weezing and I are like brothers" which showed his bond with him was just as strong as Ash and Pikachu. Thanks for the input though guys. :)
     
    They prolly think they stole them.

    Ash and Co. prolly despise team rocket, and for good reason. Why should they really feel emotion for people who have harassed them for 590 something episodes...all for a damn pikachu? It makes no sense for them to really feel sorry for them losing/sending their own pokemon away.

    Now what makes no sense to me, they actually change their teams up from region to region now, but they haven't realized that they can just do that instead of effing with Ash and Co. is beyond me.

    It's too bad that James never mentioned Weezing again after that episode. They're close alright.

    I really do miss Weezing and Arbok, yes, I really do. They are like a piece of the past that is yet again shattered away from fans' memories.
     
    Something most memorable that I can think back of is that when Jesse and James wanted Ekans and Koffing to evolve, it was their own tears that allowed it to happen. TH only reference back I've seen to their oder Pokémon was Victreebell and Cacnea...on James' side...Jesse, I can't remember if she referenced back on any of her old Pokémon?
     
    I know this is old thread but I just watched this episode and Jesse and James's Arbok and Weezing were my favorite pokemon on the show. Even more than pikachu. And seeing them having to leave made me cry and i couldn't stop watching the episode over and over, crying every time.
    I really mega hope that there is an episode where they meet again.
