A Pokemon Shooter: How Bad Ass Would That Be?

You want a Pokémon shooter game?

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if after some time we also get a Pokémon Poaching Game

Shoot me, but I think a pokemon first person shooter would be interesting. Imagine something like Interpol assault troops with their pokemon storming Galactic's HQ in Veilstone? Controlling both your gun and your pokemon?

Think of it: Call of Duty: Pokemon Warfare :).

No but it wouldn't sell well. I could see a fanmade mod of some fps such as a Battlefield, etc. though. That would be interesting.

Are the Pokemon shooting Pokemon with guns?
Is a character a Mewtwo with armor?
What is Wailord pointing at that cute little Skitty? Or shooting at it in the first place?
Would shooting Pokemon of certain ability (Sniper, Clear Body, Pickup) grant power-ups?

A Pokemon FPS would have a lot of potential, but I would feel bad if I had to shoot other Pokemon.

I can see potential as a sort of first person-RPG, think a wide open gameworld such as in Oblivion, but with gameplay taken from the handheld RPGs. Wandering the Pokemon world in first person would be pretty scenic, that's for sure. I honestly wouldn't mind a bit more calm exploration in games today.

For battles though , I assume it would snap into a Pokemon Stadium style view.
