A question about energy cards

I have just recently re-started playing pokemon tcg, for the first time in years, and I have a question. The following card requires 2 colourless for it's second move.
For the first move, does that symbol mean 0 energy cards required?

Yes the first attack does not require any energy's so your allowed to use it

I love how some attacks don't need energy!
