A question about Pokémon battles

A fight would be two pokemon attacking each other in anger, and to kill/seriously injure the opposing pokemon. A pokemon battle is more like a sport, where they aren't trying to make lethal hits, or seriously injure each other. Like a game, for fun.

Yes, the difference of a battle and a fight is all about why is the fight happening and how far is the fight going to go. So gs135790 hit the nail on the head.
 
Yeppie. Like said above a fight is when you are mad and isn't official while a battle is official and has rules. Fights are wild and have no rules with battles do.
 
Ya, a fight is more like out of anger. For some reason, battle does remind me of sports
