A question on ev training

    I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question, or if its in the wrong section, but im low on time and the thread sticky seems to take long.

    Welll, I'm training a whole new team on my Pearl game, and im currently getting battle points. anyway, I already have the power weight w/ mudkip. I smashed 30 lvl 2-3 bidoofs (because 1+4= 5 x 30 + 100 (vitamins) = 255) and it hasn't grown like +45 or whatever i see in youtube. Also, when i train all of its evs can i just train it on normal pokemon?

    can someone PLEASE reply?
     
    Well, my Ninetales got all of its EVs at LV 20 so it doesn't need to be at a high level to have all of its EVs. And yes, you can train it like a normal Pokemon afterwards.

    It's only supposed to grow by +45 in rare cases- like gaining 252 EVs at level 99, then leveling. Don't worry about it, the end result will be the same.

    And yes, when your Poke has filled all 510 EVs, you can train normally.

    That is partly true, the ev's start to take effect round about level 50. If it is level 50 and you ev train it then level up you gain a lot of stats, because it stars taking effect at level 50+
