A question on the proper place

The Mods don't seem to be responsive as I've sent a few messages out and had a few questions and they haven't been answered (I didn't just send them, I sent them way earlier today) so I figure I'll ask in the QUESTIONS area as surely that's the proper place to post a question haha.

Anyway, I made a thread a while back asking for some advice on my party of pokemon, trying to get my team as balanced as possible, so I posted it where it seemed proper to post it. To my surprise, the thread was moved into another thread, set as a reply, then got closed by what I assume is another mod. So, confused I assumed I simply just accidentally posted it as a reply to that thread. So, I posted it, making sure to hit "New Thread" in what could be the only logical place to post it.

I come back downstairs later, to find that it had again been closed. So my question is, if someone has a question about their team and trying to optimize their team for maximum effectiveness where do they post that thread? Thanks.

Sorry, that was some confusion on our part.

Your thread concerned an in-game team, which aren't allowed in the main section of S&M. Luckily, we're going to have a new sub-forum up specifically for in-game teams very soon (within the next few days.) You'll be able to post your team there.

So currently there is no place to actually talk about the actual games? I don't mean for that to come off rude it just seems odd that on a Pokemon forum there isn't a place already to talk about your pokemon teams lol.

Well there are threads where you can post your teams and discuss them (There are threads on the first page of both the DPP and HG/SS forums), but as for rating them, we didn't allow that until now. So yes, you can post your team, and very soon you'll be able to post it in the new subforum to have it rated.

And actually, the subforum is up now if you want to post your team, lol.
