    ok...
    say i put a shiny female salamence and a male regular salamence in the daycare and receive a egg


    is there any chance that the egg will hatch into a shiny bagon?
     
    Read the other threads about shinies before posting...

    Anyways, The egg wouldn't hatch shiny, it would have the same exact chances as seeing a shiny in the wild. It might hatch shiny, but it would be the same exact chances anyways.
     
    The chance is 1/8192. The chances of getting a shiny is always reset no matter what, unless you cheat to alter the chances.
     
    Please referr to the other threads that have occured asking this question.

    You will still have the same chance of getting a shiny Pokémon, it doesn't matter if you breed two shinies, as the chance will not increase due to that.
