As everybody in the known world knows, TLoZ: TP has now come out in bothe the Wii and the Gamecube. I already own a gamecube, and have intended to buy TP for it. However, I might just drop an additional $250 for the Wii as well, but only on one condition. Not including Graphic, Sound, and (duh) control, is there any differences between them? Can i do more in the Wii version than the GC version, such as finding Easter eggs, or something as minor as catching differnt fish, finding more items, etc? Any input would be 100% Welcome, and thank you.

The games themselves are identical in terms of locations, story, and extras.

The ONLY differences between the two version is that the Wii version feature 16:9 widescreen as well as controls adapted for the Wii remote. Oh, an the entire game is flipped horizontally on the Wii version. Where you would turn right on the GCN, you turn left on the Wii.

    Otherwise, they are the same.

The GCN game is a little less buggy since it had a few extra weeks before release. But these are only bugs that you'll find if you're looking for them.

If you know that you're going to be getting a Wii 100% then I'd pick up the Wii version. I really can't imagine playing TP with the standard GCN controls. The Wii just works. If not, pick up the GCN one and enjoy Link as the lefty he was meant to be.

    Both games can displayed 480p.
