Hey guys. I'm just surveying about various Pokemon, and I have a few questions for you guys. If you can provide justification for why you gave the answer you did, that'd be much appreciated!
1) What Pokemon could be better with a stat adjustment? For example Flareon learns mainly SP Attack moves, however its Attack is its best stat. Can you think of any other Pokemon that fit this bill?
2) Are there moves that you think a Pokemon should know? Or are there any 3rd Gen moves that Pokemon learn in latter generations? For example, the three legendary dogs learn Extrasensory in latter generations. Do you know of any other 3rd gen Pokemon this applies to? Or back to my original question, are there any moves that you think a Pokemon should know in general?
3) What suggestions for change, if any, would you have in regards to evolutions for all Pokemon? How would this make things easier/more difficult?
4) If you could change the move tutors in FR/LG, what would you change them to? And why?
5) If you could have a specialty store in FR/LG, what items would it sell? What price would you charge? And why these particular items?
6) If you could change a Pokemons type, what would you change it to, and why? What challenges or advantages would the type change provide? Or what is practical about this change?
7) Relating back to question 2, are there any TMs/HMs that you feel a Pokemon should be able to learn that they are not able to learn in this gen?
8) Are there any attacks that could be adjusted for power, accuracy, PP, type, effect and target either way? For example perhaps you think the move Mega Punch could do more/less damage, be more/less accurate, have more/less PP, be a different type (in this case fighting type could be a suitable replacement), have a secondary effect (such as paralysis, or stat raising), and hit both opponents instead of one (when used in a double battle)?
9) What trainer battles could be better? These can be from battling youngsters and bug catchers, all the way up to gym leaders and E4. Do you think the overall level of their Pokemon could be higher/lower? For the gym leaders/E4 especially, could you suggest any Pokemon they should or shouldn't have?
10) Do you have any other suggestions for how the games could be improved or tweaked that is not covered by any of the other questions? Please suggest them. I'd like to hear any and everything you have to say and suggest that could be improved on.
There are no right or wrong answers for this, and please do not feel compelled to answer every single question if you do not have suggestions for them. Only answers those you have ideas for if you wish.
Thanks heaps, and I look forward to hearing from you.
