Hi...

Truth be told I was a little nervous to join a forum since the last one I tried ruined one of my interests completely. Make a comment on a comic someone made about sexual assault and you get told it's "Just a joke" and to take your "feminist rantings elsewhere". So now I hate Excel Saga.

That's what's nice about Pokemon; it's a series that attracts more then sexist males and jerks. Right... Sorry... I'm still a bit bitter because I was a member for awhile and it still hurts.

Although I'm a Pokemon fan, I like the classics. Anything past the Gameboy generation just didn't "hook" me. Same for the show; I loved the series when it was just with Ash, Misty, and Brock. I'm currently replaying Pokemon Yellow and seeing what I can get to show up with the Teleport/Fly glitch.

I'm also currently in college with the hopes to become involved with making video games but I would settle for a career in animation or graphic design. Anything to get away from being a Dietary Aide x_X

In my free time I play video games, read, enhance my random collections, or paint ceramics. I hope it'll be OK to post those in the art thread.

I look forward to becoming a part of this community!

Sorry to hear about your experience over at Excel Saga. I actually know a couple friends that frequent that place pretty often, but I never really got around to signing up. From the sounds of it, perhaps that was a wise decision on my part. XD;

Either way, I'm sure you'll find PC to be a pretty calm place. If you ever do see anything that's insulting or abusive around these parts, don't hesitate to contact one of us staff members. We don't really tolerate members overtly disrespecting each other, so you can rest assured it'll be taken care of.

That's very nice to hear. The ES forums is very small, which turned out not to be a good thing. It was actually a moderator which said those things to me. If it had been a regular user it wouldn't have been so bad, but I hate people who abuse their power.

I agree with you, the "old gen" is the best! I always play pokemon red or pokemon yellow, and I was amazed when I discovered a pair of glitches... I loughed for hours xD
