A XD cheat??

I was playing Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness, and I read on the internet that if you complete Mt. Battle then you get a choice of one of the three Johto Starters, and each knowing an elemental Hyper Beam, and each time you complete the mountian, you can get any of the other ones(Which I don't want to do). My question is that if I battle up to trainer number 99 and save my game, copy it over to another memory card, complete the first Mt. Battle chose a starter, trade it over to Emerald, then copy over the save file from memory card 2 to card 1 and complete the mountian again, transfer the starter over to Emerald(Again) and copy and complete for a third time, and finally transfer the last starter over to Emerald, will the cheat work, anybody tried this, any ideas??

Save files for Pokemon Colosseum and XD are intentionally blocked from being copied for just such a reason, so unless you can transfer save files using an external device, no it will not work.

Well, can I just save on one memeroy card, pull that one out, and put in another memory card, and save it to several cards that way??

I don't think the game can function without the memory card in it, so I think pulling it out would just prompt you to put it back in. Or even worse, the game would just freeze. I'm not entirely sure what would happen though.

No, they were also programmed to only save to a single memory card per file.

And theres no way to save to a card in slot 2 right??

Correct. So, short of finding a device that can switch and backup saves directly from the memory card, there is no way for your idea to work.
