Ability Concept: Intervention

When a Pokémon with this ability is send onto the field, a random fainted Pokémon in your party is healed back to the full health.

Yeah, just thought I should put this up here. Especially in the competitive scene, this ability could provide quite a number of mindgames as there's always a possibility your opponent just managed to resurrect that one Pokémon you struggled to faint previously. However, there are limitations in order to ensure this ability's not a total game breaker. Besides the obvious 'can only be used once' rule, Pokémons so resurrected also can't use their abilities as well among other things. It still has the potential to utterly demolish you if you aren't prepared however...

That seems insanely broken imo, even with a once per battle and no abilities/held items limit. @_@ Basically a free Max Revive in competitive battles. I think something like that would only be balanced out if all of the revived Pokémon's stats were cut in half for the duration of the battle? Now I'm thinking of it being a ghost-type move that revives the Pokémon as a marionette, which would explain the stats being halved lol (since, like a marionette, they're being controlled by the move user, and not actually revived).

I love Sheep's idea for improving the thematic flavor of the idea. With some appropriate nerfs you might be able to drop the "random" part, which, IMO immediately disqualifies it from competitive.

I see... Well, everything in Pokémon needs to be fair, yes? Halved stats and random could actually work in a sense... Also, the ability would be exclusive to a legendary and so, unless it's banned, a player would only have one to begin with. If by chance they do have two of the legendaries, the activate only once per battle still applies.
