[Developing] Aboaru

Hey there!
I'm Varion, you may know me from Pokémon Genetics, I haven't stopped working on that, I just get bored with doing one thing all the time, so I'm working on a non-Pokémon game as well.

I present to you, Aboaru.
An 8Bit Styled RPG made with RPG Maker XP.

Story:
Once there was a world called Arboaru which contained four great kingdoms.
Aruu, Bawa, Corr, and Earu. They all live in perfect harmony, except
for a fifth kingdom, Dred, like each kingdom, filled with it's own
species, unfortunately, Dred is filled with goblins and demons, who
live off of people's misfortune and tragedy.

The Dred Kingdom have never agreed with the other four kingdoms, always
wanting to be on top, be the masters of everything, and be in command.
But the four kingdoms have always remained solid and defended themselves
from Dred. Until now, the town of Earu is put at panic as you, Duke, are
summoned to the king's room, to have a talk with the King. His crystal
complice has been stolen, by golbins from the Dred kingdom.

If used correctly, the Dred Kingdom could alter reality itself, changing
their place in the world to the top of the food chain, causing them to be
the master race. The King gives you the task of tracking down the elements
and collecting them to be powerful enough to enter the Dred Kingdom, and
saving the world.

With just a few guld and clothes to your name, you must fight and survive
and save the world, because they'll be no tommorow otherwise.

Interesting. Top-down RPG games have always been somewhat of an enigma to me, but I find this idea thoroughly intriguing.

My question is, will there be different classes of characters (No, not "unique" classes that only belong to each PC, but generic classes like Warrior or Mage) and, if so, will class changing be possible?

Each character will have an element, as well as a class.

Fire warrior, Fire Thief, Fire Priest, or Fire mage.

Ect, for four elements, Fire, earth, wind, Water.

They'll be a special area to change your class, somewhere in the game.

This isn't going to be a Final Fantasy Game.
Just similar battle systems.

Well, that's helpful.
Could you at least explain which aspects are ''boring'' and how they can be not ''boring''.

But the overworld style is Dragon Warrior, but it's not a Dragon Warrior either.

Varion, this game looks really good. Keep up the good work. It's also one of the first non-pokemon games there so good luck on it!

Well... in the whole community, theres actually at least 100 non pokemon games, but most of them were long ago. Now everyone talks about and makes pokemon games, that's what I call boring... No offense to all you pokemon developers out there, I still like pokemon, I just want to see a change once in a while, and this is definitely it!

I feel you've high expectations for this. :l

1. Starting to add my own weapons and Armor.
2. Menu System made by; [need to go check who did it; brb]
3. First dungeon, isn't very long though.

I actually was just happy that something like this is under development.
