4th Gen About to tackle 8th Gym... need help

Im about to tackle the 8th gym but I dont think my Pokemon are ready.

Alakazam - L43
Infernape - L44
Palkia - L47
Staraptor - L43
Feraligatr - L44
Luxray - L44

I would like all at L50.... where is the best place to train them up for I do the gym?

my suggestion......
is using the vs seeker at the trainers just outside of the city.....

VS seeker it up man!!! Its the best way to train, plus you rack up some money while doing it. I like to find that one trainer on every route that will always be up for a rematch and then just run back and forth and fight over and over again! Though not if the experience from that particular fight is no good.

BY the way, I think you should be able to take the final gym no problem with your party.

Wow I thought I was way under leveled at 50 so I trained ALL 6 of my pokes to 62 and STILL havn't even attempted the elite four after 249 hours of gameplay but yeah you will do fine i'm sure of it. Oh and I use the VS seeker on the 2 trainers below Vilestone city for my training the one has 3 ponyta's in their 20's and the other has 2 Seaking and one Goldeen all in the 30's attach a lucky egg and your good to go.

How in the world do you legitimately have a Ferligator if you havent beaten the game and received a nationaldex anyway???????

Umm.. You should be fine with those Pokemon as long as you have type advantage. If you don't have a Ground-type attack, then it will be kind of hard, though.

The only thing that you should really worry about is the Nasty Plot / Baton Pass with Ambipom, but I don't think it will have time to do that since you have an Infernape (hopefully with Close Combat).

Im not attemping the E4 yet, just the 8th gym...

Yeah same theory basicly just train with w/e trainers you feel help the most and you'll be good to go.

Just to let you know, you don't need the National Dex for ANYTHING in Local Trades. GTS is the only time it matters.

although you easily can beat the gym with this team you have now. just make good use of items, moves and some revives, full restores, etc, when you get in trouble
