    Hi all I got a really big problem so i wanna catch all the trio of DP and i caught mesprit with the master ball no problem of course now the problem is that no metter how much i try i cant catch uxie or azelf i paralayz them and bring them to 1-2 HP and start throwing ultra balls i had 40 and i threw all of them at him and he would almost always loose without even the ultra ball moving what should I do am i doing something wrong or is it just really bad luck?
     
    Buy Dusk Balls and Timer Balls. Dusk balls, when used in a cave, has a 4x chance of success. After 4 turns, timer balls also have a 4x chance of catching. Ultra balls only have a 2x chance.
     
    problem is that if i am not mistaken dusk balls can only bought in pokemon league center and i didnt got there yet i didnt do the 8th gym yet and am trying to catch them before the 8th gym or the league
     
    No how low you take the HP, and if you give the Pokémon a status, it's just luck. Try Dusk Balls, throw a few. If you don't have it, restart. Simple. There is no strategy when catching Pokémon like this.

    And you can get Dusk Balls in Solaceon and Pastoria.
     
    Also, if you have a pokemon with False Swipe, use it to make sure they only have 1 point left. It will help. I caught all three without the master ball.

    i take the them to about 1-2HP and always make them sleep with yawn or getting them paralayzed
     
    mine just turned red from yellow, quite a bit of hp left
    about 14 dusks and i caught it
    but it is kinda down to luck
     
    Okay, jave a quick ball, if that does not work use dusk balls with low hp. My cousin caught both with quick balls with out hurting them.

    That is how I caught them as well. At the start of the battle, I threw a Quick Ball and it caught them. I was able to do that as well with Dialga. I was quite happy about that.

    To keep this on topic, the best that can be done is through trial and error. The method you are doing as you've said is one trial, now try some that other's have posted here. I like the Quick Ball method personally, and when that doesn't work, go with Dusk / Timer Balls. As long as you keep trying, you will eventually get them. If not this time, just restart and do it again.

    as far as im aware, shiny umbreon is wrong (sorry to contradict you), depending on the stat change inflicted it alters the catch rate. check serebii.net to make sure though. also, all 3 ball types mentioned above can be bought in snowpoint.

    personally i prefer dusk balls.
    having said that, i caught dialga in a premier ball, purely for the look of it :P.
    don't see that working on anything with such a low catch rate though :S
     
    checked serebii, try catching pokemon in the game mechanics section.

    and have a calculator ready...
     
    i caught 2 of them using quick balls then i got the other using my wobuffets mean look and then i used thunderwave and then used false swipe used 7 dusk balls and caught him it was as simple as that but keep trying im sure you can do it
     
    Try using Mean Look or any attack that stops them in their tracks(just experiment.) then use Dusk, Timer, Ultra balls. Master ball's okay but costs real money...
